Are Sky playing the bluff game or do they mean business?

They're doing the same thing as the days before I'd say. Dictate the race pace and let Froome TT his way up the final climb.

Based on Froome's performance the last few days, it's the only way they can play it. Froome can hold a steady fast pace for ages, so makes sense to keep a high tempo for a long time; rather than let everyone arrive relatively fresh on the Farrapona, when they will sprint away from him.

That we saw. We can not know for sure whether anything had happened previously.

Good point!

Contador off the back and seems to almost be panicking when going to the caravan on his way back.

He is back now.

Even if Froome goes well, how much time can he really get on this climb? It doesn't really kick up until the last 5 km.

What was Contador doing?

Anyway Kelderman dropped right at the foot of the climb with Ten Dam

Did he puncture? The press bike nearly KO'd his teammate when they were getting back on.

The climb really only starts at the last 6km for the GC guys, i doubt we'll see anything before that.

Froome in his best form, can gain minutes in 5km.

He only needs 1:20

Controlling the pace and make everyone more tired so they cant race him too much when he is dropping.

No that's stupid, froome is not the kinda guy who wants to preserve his place.
