"Szmyd is overrated" is not the same as "Szmyd isn't good". Many people seem to think that when Szmyd is in the group it's completely impossible to do anything and he always sets up a killer pace, destroying everyone.

Sure, there is exaggeration. But I think it's actually fair to say that when Szmyd is in form and on the front that he makes it considerably harder for anyone to do anything successfully than any other climbing domestique.
