I agree on the part that De Cauwer is the best, but comparing him with Koomen is odd.
He is from the radioage, where he just made stuff up. As if it was the most thrilling stage ever, while nothing really happened. That was ok, since nobody was able to see it anyways. It was a show.

what strikes me is that's Sky who's putting down the tempo and not the leaders jersey team.

In Lance's time it was always Us Postal who set the tempo...
