Bahrain said he was saving himself - for this stage by the look of it - but the Battle of the Lennys has begun!Lenny looks like he's recovered quite well from whatever was affecting him in Stage 1

It's called professional sports... it's not like these guys are engaged in intrinsically productive activity so the economic value has to come from somewhere, and that's your attention.I hate that the sport is not about sports but about money money and some more money
Oh you're right, especially when we now see his sprint was good enough anyways. But I think the group knows they have no chance of staying away: Alpecin not only want to keep MVDP in yellow but also give him a chance at a stage win, and there will be GC action as well. They would have needed to be up 5 minutes at this point to stay away. But then again: what is he doing? Why attack on a flat mountain more than 2k from the top when you want to reach the other dots afterwards and it's a 4 man group? Seems not ideal to me.
Wout so carefully looking after Vingo.
Pogacar will force Vingegaard to be first on the last 3rd category only to gift him the polka dot for the TT.
The ultimate chess.
I can't remember the exact prize. Something about being invited to an event involving the Tour. Some artwork on one of the farm fields, evidently prizes are awarded to the farmers for the best ones. (You learn something new every day.)
I’ve seen plenty of commentators in the past, saying a break with Asgreen is not staying away - the truth is none of us ever know, because some days the dude just refuses to get caught.Oh you're right, especially when we now see his sprint was good enough anyways. History tells me Asgreen has a chance, the others not so much.Oh you're right, especially when we now see his sprint was good enough anyways. Well, I would be thrilled to see him stay away. But those other instances were more likely flattish stages where the sprint teams were responsible to bring him back. Here we have 4 climbs in the last 30 kms that suit the puncheurs and GC contenders, and it's still early in the race when everything is up for grabs.I’ve seen plenty of commentators in the past, saying a break with Asgreen is not staying away - the truth is none of us ever know, because some days the dude just refuses to get caught.

Before the top they will play games for so long that Milan will pass them.

I do too.Every other sport, the fans fret about match fixing.
To borrow @Logic-is-your-friend quote a bit; do you prefer riders being washed?Lenny is a dirty rider IMHO. I don't like him.
They have to make up for yesterday when there was no breakThey‘ve now been showing the break for five minutes straight (interrupted by one mechanical)
