What a pity... so we will have 20 km of nothing

Well blame organizers for putting 50 points on hilly stages. Girmay and Milan need to to have a shot at green.

Ok a new tactic... but is it a smart one? Milan then will win the intermediate. If they would try to attack with Girmay maybe he wins it...

It's about taking points on the climbers... not against eachother.

Today is 50? I thought it was 30.

I don't know about today, I ment the previous one. Why Pogacar is now in first. There's not that many sprint stages left. Better to not take risks and make sure you put him on a distance. And also Van der Poel honestly. He's not thinking about green now, but that could still come.

Healy, Simmons and Amirail with the most predictable move of 2025 and the only ones thinking clearly.

Mathieu has never worn green in a Tour stage if I’m not mistaken? Maybe he just wants it for a day and then sees where it takes him later on.

But it also means Lidl and Intermarché will try to shut down any move with him in it. Which could then result in Alpecin trying to control the break instead.
Should be interesting dynamics, all favoring a certain UAE.

Really hope Van der Poel goes all out for green, because if he doesn't Pogacar will likely just sleepwalk it unless suddenly breakaways start winning many stages again.
