Will be hard to control the peloton now on this climb. This is gonna be the start of a big break.

Should be interesting dynamics, all favoring a certain UAE.

Really hope Van der Poel goes all out for green, because if he doesn't Pogacar will likely just sleepwalk it unless suddenly breakaways start winning many stages again.

When I checked where the intermediate sprints are, the sprinters shouldn't have problems with the jersey.
Milan can just farm points in every mountain stage as well.

Arkea is like controlling a bit, jumping on riders but not trying to attack themselves;

Think UAE is also already there to not let a Visma rider go (no idea why they would care but). If this takes too long this might be controlled

Tough for Healy and Simmons to have spent all that energy and suddenly the peloton is right on their tail again.

If Wanty was smart, they would kill Millan today.
Trek is not going to put Skjelmose, Nys behind so just 5 riders to help him.

I haven't done the math, but Pog should get way more from sprint finishes and in some cases the break should be gone by the time the intermediate sprint hits

I also don't know about the time limits, if there's any mountain stages where they're not a complete joke Milan may struggle.

Time limits are bigger this year.

Van Aert needs to pull a breakaway of at least 3 dudes so that all the boni's are taken care of.

Van Aert takes off early in the break, Jonas attacks at the bottom of Côte de Mortain, catches Wout on ôte de Juvigny-le-Tertre, and they take back the time Jonas lost today.

Today was intentional, Visma are planning something.

My powers of prognostication are world renownd to be horrible, but I posted because even a stopped clock is right twice per day.
Things are going to plan.
