Stage Previews Thread

Well after some miscommunications, it has been decided that there should be a stage preview thread, as to avoid such occurences again.

Anyone who wants to do a preview of a stage or a race, is welcome to put their name down on this thread.

Also I will try and update the opening post, if possible and if people want, in order that people can easily see who is doing what preview.

Maybe the OP should make a library post with all the races and stages, a bit like in the race design thread

Why? It should be first come first serve, no need for this thread. The omly condition is to honor the stage properly.

After all the debacles going on atm think that this thread could come to some use at least for the duration of the Tour, otherwise a lot of people could do a lot on hard work for nought..

Tough luck then. Suck it up. If all you care about is the recognition, and feel you have wasted your time if other people don't read it, then you really are not doing this for the right reasons.

Its a moot point anyway. The claim that "a lot of people" will be interested in writing thousands of words for a stage op is totally without basis.

There were at least 3 threads for todays stage possibly even more, thats the point.. to prevent that from happening again

Look at the date this thread was made this has nothing got to do with that thread if that is what you meant

That was pretty much down to me clicking 3 times on the 'create thread' button when my computer froze.

Yeah, im sure there were hundreds of posters, absolutely devestated, that they did not get the chance to op the profile of a pan flat sprinters stage

This thread is exceptionally gimpy, and I blame it for causing the delays in new stage threads.

Stage 3 should be up already. Frankly it should have been up mid afternoon.
