I don't know if there is already a topic on this topic (if yes sorry!), but I think it's a good idea to have one.

Vegard Robinson Bugge was at the meet and greet with young riders that Quick Step had in June so he's another one at leasy.

Is there an age limit on stagieres? If not then I guess Christer Rake could still be interesting though he hasn't had as good a year this year as last.

But ya, it might be that some of the other riders haven't been as visible internationally so far this year.

Also Bjørn Tore Hoem - he's 19 and was climbing well and riding very strongly in the Tour of Norway and the Czech Cyling Tour. He's on Plussbank-Cervélo, which is Thor Hushovd's team, so there's a possible route in for him.

why? hushovd and ebh rode the tour and them doing well is not exactly a surprise

Vegard Stake Laengen definitely deserves a chance. I'd compare him to Johan Vansummeren, a really strong diesel who could do excellent as a domestique on all terrain. Vegard Robinson Bugge is also quite strong and has a decent kick too. I really hope they'll get a chance at a protour team.

Could someone explain "stagiere" for me? I've never seen the term before. Guessing from intern, a temporary rider? Do the race normally? What level races?

They are young riders that get a temporary slot in a pro-team and they are allowed to race all the races but not PT races!
