I maybe should delete half of my post as I'm clearly doped and clearly out of it, but it's so fun to go with the flow 😬 I wouldn't recommend it to cyclists though as proprioception gets worse 🙄 But the pain relief is magical. 🥰

They sold Redbull at my local Lidl today; talk about a clash of sponsor interests!

I didn't buy any. I prefer my drugs in their natural form:

:coffee:

Though, I guess the "natural form" would be to just... eat the beans raw.

Well the question is what exactly is the drug, coffee, caffeine, stuff involving coffee beans?
Because if it's caffeine, it doesn't just come in coffee beans, if it's coffee the "natural" form is, well, brewed coffee, and if it's stuff that involves coffee beans than it's coffee beans.

On top of that: when it comes to humans, it's natural to us to transform stuff by other means into a form that cannot be encountered if you leave "nature" alone. But we are also part of nature, so is it really unnatural for coffee to be brewed?

Questions over questions.

I wonder if anyone ever came up with the idea of using amitryptoline for doping. It's even blurring joint pain and most certainly muscle pain. I might be a super responder on this drug though as most people I know got no relief. When just taking it there's a blissful state reminding me of nitrous oxide or marijuana that makes ones brain feels oh so smart and that's when all those weird posts happen. :smirkcat:

Has anyone else noted that the Pog thread is still the most active thread on the forum? Now, I couldn't be arsed to read it, but I have breaking news: there's a giro on and the Pog isn't in it.

Ah, it's mostly about witchcraft and what species of alien Vingegaard is. We are doing daily shifts, every poster in that thread, watching Ancient Aliens, to find out. I'm agnostic on the question and just enjoy watching Ancient Aliens.

I've also noticed there is very little activity in the Clinic overall since Pog isn't racing the Giro.

Pogicentrism is real. Even the nay sayers contribute to it (not meaning you, general observation).

With the amount of bull coming from Vingo as a prelude to CdD and tour de Farce, I feel like cycling is going down the route of boxing: a great sport trying to become showbiz. Vingo is probably trying to get inside Pog's head. I expect this year's tour to be off the Richter scale. But they can never take away the giro from us.

Unhinged Vingegaard on percs, because of the crash(es), arch?

As frustrating as it may be, people eat all of the Pog versus Vinge stuff up and it drives forum engagement here and viewer engagement in the broader sense of pro cycling. Get ready for thousands of discussions on the topic and an endless stream of articles detailing every miniscule detail about who said what & who did what over the next 8 weeks.

People like winners and attach themselves to them. So the industry knows how to push the right buttons and "sell" the Tour as a piece of entertainment.
