I honestly have no captal in it, so likely skullduggery, which it likely is. The problem Is the absence of trust. Then one should review why that is so...

do we need trust to watch the racing? going back as early as 1996, I was a 16 years old fan of Miguel, I would have accepted any banned magic potion for Miguel to go berzerk and get time back and win the Tour. his les Arcs defeat was terrible for me. I still remember how sad I was that evening while thinking about where he could gain back time, if he could get better...
are we aware that so many fans are just pure Rogla/Jonas/Pog fangirls (dear me the fangirls crack me up) who don't care about actual trust and think "my rider is cleaner than yours"

Is there actually anyone that reads or posts on CN that believes in Unicorn Riders? I'd love a show of hands.

So did Chris Froome on the Ventoux back in 2013.

It still looked weird as hell and remains weird to this day, including his flat heart rate. So I have no complaints or recriminations when people start digging on the bike side of things.
I would call Froome doing the eggbeater up Ventoux and...this as contrasting examples, rather than comparable ones. This is a nothingburger.

Yeah, just normal physics of a road racing bike vs super weird looking riding.

No, however, a lack of trust is prudent, lest we give up critical thought. The Italians say: “Chi pensa male sbaglia, ma spesso ci si azzecca” ("To think bad is a sin, but often one gets it right.")

esatto, you're talking to an italian :) but personally I don't look for that trust while watching the races. check my signature: it's usually about that

I don't think the two are mutually esclusive, that is, one can not trust and still watch the races. Otherwise nobody in their right mind could follow politics and the coverage of world affairs.

Guys, guys, guys ...

Tongue and cheek here

It is pretty obvious that if Pog is the heaviest but he can also out climb the other two, that he has so much more power he's going to be able to pummel them in a head-to-head contest. Only Rem the Ram with his aerodynamic edge is able to edge ahead by a few seconds in a time trial.

Nothing to see here!

Obviously the word went out from the sheikh, that it's not time for backflips in the pool or lackadasical TT-ing, but time to bring glory to the UAE and all it's ruling families. In other words, two bowls of Pogi Porridge for breakfast!

Do we see a new fastest time up the Mûr on Friday or will it be just the usual "on a good day" performance?

Not only is it kinda impressive that you're still this hung up on the Sky criticism, it's also factually incorrect because people are in the Pogacar Clinic thread every day and the "is UAE too much" thread is active as well

yes, it is too much. but the anger, the vitriol, the hate is not the same. the obsession is not the same. the pure hate is gone
