do we need trust to watch the racing? going back as early as 1996, I was a 16 years old fan of Miguel, I would have accepted any banned magic potion for Miguel to go berzerk and get time back and win the Tour. his les Arcs defeat was terrible for me. It still looked weird as hell and remains weird to this day, including his flat heart rate. So I have no complaints or recriminations when people start digging on the bike side of things.

I would call Froome doing the eggbeater up Ventoux and...this as contrasting examples, rather than comparable ones. This is a nothingburger.

I don't think the two are mutually esclusive, that is, one can not trust and still watch the races. Otherwise nobody in their right mind could follow politics and the coverage of world affairs.

It is pretty obvious that if Pog is the heaviest but he can also out climb the other two, that he has so much more power he's going to be able to pummel them in a head-to-head contest. Only Rem the Ram with his aerodynamic edge is able to edge ahead by a few seconds in a time trial.
