Next year in UAE he will make history by helping Pogi win his 6th Tour and getting the 2nd place as a super-dom.
In 2028 Pogi will bulk up to smash cobble eaters in PR while Paul will lead the Tour and win it.

This was the greatest four-minute performance in the history of cycling at nearly 9w/kg. It is unfathomable, difficult to put into words. Oh and by the way, they still had 35km of racing to go.

Depends on duration. Even I could do 7 w/kg for a few dozens of seconds. Redoute was a very short effort (likely above VO2max capacity), those 7 w/kg was for 20-30 minutes climbs.

I suppose he's refering to the fact he was banned so often!

I agree with his statement on doping though. I also think a rider like Valverde would have done better in his early years if no one was using.

Taschler and his father Gottlieb, himself a former biathlete and long-time sports official, had already come under suspicion of doping earlier. In 2010, a meeting between the Taschlers and Michele Ferrari was intercepted by the Italian police. There was a conviction, but it was overturned in June 2019 after a new trial in Trento.
