http://www.velonation.com/News/ID/7...ition-against-Novitzky-from-Victor-Conte.aspx

You know his team is getting desperate when they're trolling Victor Conte's attorneys for dirt on Novitsky. And yet, Conte thinks is more likely than not that Armstrong doped. LOL!!

BTW, the grand jury meets today in San Jose. What are the odds of an indictment being handed down today?

Perhaps they are taking time to review the reams of info provided here recently, as well as in the ESPN and SI articles.

Ream having a different meaning here than the one that Lance may yet become acquainted with.

Lovely, this bit:

Armstrong has made a powerful enemy in Novitsky. He has even more enemies the cycling world, and they are no longer afraid to talk. (Or are actively looking to talk to save their own skins.)

Add to that the investment "former friends" of Weisel and you have a bubbling stew that's a long way from done. Lance is just the tired old gristly meat they throw in to tenderize on slow boil. Weisel will be the garlic and onions...causing bitter tears among the faithful.

So, Ferarri was still working with the team and Don Caitlin was covering up the fraud.

Very interesting...wonder how the fanboys will spin this one.

I love it!!!
I wonder if Armstrong got Ferrari back for his comeback, or if Ferrari kept working with Bruyneel all along. Ah, so many questions!

Does that make Don Caitlin another tired old liar then?

Who does he sue? SI for saying he covered up Lance's T/E ratio? Or Armstrong for defaming him as a liar?

Caitlin has some 'splainin to do.

So does JV for that matter - given the ongoing relationship.

When I read the Caitlin bit, I also recalled how Lance appeared to use him as a decoy for the great dope-free comeback story then dropped him due to contractual detail issues.

The Caitlin information puts an interesting spin on the 2009 on-then-off testing program that Armstrong announced at the beginning of his comeback. Did Caitlin have a heart to heart and say "Look, I covered before, but I can't do it again."

I'm not clear on Catlin's role here. From the quote,
In 1999, USA Cycling sent a formal request to Catlin for past test results -- specifically, testosterone-epitestosterone ratios -- for a cyclist identified only by his drug-testing code numbers. A source with knowledge of the request says that the cyclist was Armstrong. In a letter responding to those requests, Catlin informed USA Cycling that his lab could not recover five of the cyclist's test results. Of the results that could be found, "three stand out," SI reports: "a 9.0-to-1 ratio from a sample collected on June 23, 1993; a 7.6-to-1 from July 7, 1994; and a 6.5-to-1 from June 4, 1996. Most people have a ratio of 1-to-1. Prior to 2005, any ratio above 6.0-to-1 was considered abnormally high and evidence of doping; in 2005 that ratio was lowered to 4.0-to-1."

While he didn't address the 6.5-to-1 result, Catlin wrote that he had attempted confirmation (a required step) on the 9.0-to-1 and 7.6-to-1 samples, and "in both cases the confirmation was unsuccessful and the samples were reported negative." (Armstrong says he has never taken performance-enhancing drugs and has never been informed that he tested positive.)

So it wan't like all the test data just disappeared, especially if there's still some damning evidence there. Is Catlin being implicated for complicity—because that would be a dark turn that I had never imagined—or is he being pointed to as the source of some of the unveiling?

Ugggh...so many lies, so little time! ;)

Well, he "didn't address" one of the samples (why?), and the other two curiously couldn't be confirmed (the "Missing 'B' Syndrome")...

Make of that what you will.

Catlin's manuvering makes me think he's the zit that Novitsky's been squeezing...it's gonna blow! This is also much more current than the tired old lies about USPS...er, Motorola...I mean Astana in '09...sh*t we can't keep these lies straight.

Not quite fork-tender....but....

Guess what? LA is no longer on the front page of the Michelob Ultra site:

http://www.michelobultra.com

Now, there's just a link instead of the massive man-love home page. It's a slow road to becoming an un-person in the advertising industry, but Lancey-boy is well on his way. In a couple months, I'll bet the "Lance-links" disappear altogether.

Nice title... The snowball rolling downhill appears to be getting bigger.

NOOOO! It can't be...he's our hero! He COULDN'T have cheated, because he's too good for that.

Yeah, he may be "Done" on the grill...but the chef is gonna forget about the steak and he's gonna burn right on up.

Either way, convicted or not, this isn't the way a so called "Great" would want to finish out his legacy...one tainted with so much stink that it makes a landfill smell sweet.:D

Don Catlin.......
wow- LA even had him on the payroll too-and going back to 93? and testosterone levels up to 9.0? WTF:mad:
sorry if this sounds harsh but with this info I'm inclined to believe his cancer was caused by the heavy doping regiment he was on from early age-no doubt

just expose the **** to the core and bury him alive!!!
it's about time!!!!

i find people's surprise at ferrari still being used truly mind-numbing/boggling.

of course he was still working with him. i have stated this many times.

pharmstrong has lied over and over again.

no way he competes in the tour without ferrari's help. i stated that ferrari was certainly consulted on pharmstrong's return. in fact, it was clear to me that ferrari was probably a major reason pharmstrong returned. he convinced pharmstrong that he could get around the blood passport and could give him the advantage he needed over all the other riders.

don't you wonder why armstrong was so shocked that he ended up "only" third. and had so many sour grapes about it. And only recently mentioned again how surprised he was he didn't win an eighth tour.

i really don't mean to call anyone out or to toot my own horn here. i don't. it was just always clear as hell to me that ferrari was never out of the picture.

and with all those testosterone positives, i can see why landis would be pi$$ed that he was the one brought down...the injustice that the uci does not play fairly. that some are allowed to get away with things others cannot. wait. haven't we heard someone else complain that was happening...oh, yeah, greg lemond. man that guy has been dead on on the whole issue of doping and pharmstrong.

Wait for the commotion to die down guys..

Prediction :

The LA fanboys will stay quiet for a while, then come back, and "argue away" all of the new allegations one at a time.

According to the article, Ferrari himself was worried he may have played a role in the cancer, and was "more conservative" with the doping after.

I doubt Ferrari was working with Bruyneel - as we know Vino was one of his clients in 2007.

But you can be sure they were reunited on LA's return - even though he denies it in this 2009 interview - but he then finishes with:
"I've got another two years: in 2011 I'm going to retire because I'll be eligible for a pension"

"Then what will you do?
"I'll ride my bike, hoping that you'll stop writing shit about me."
.....when does Lance retire again?
