Why fight for a 5-7 spot in GC when he can fight for a podium or even a VICTORY in the Vuelta?
There is a tired old thinking that says riders need to develop andonly with 28 or so they are ready for the Tour. BS...
Riders have much more information nowadays and Seixas is a highly motivated nerd who has been doing all the right things since he was 5 probably. So now is his time to show what he has.

No, but the French media started inflating his ego and he started believing he is more than he actually is.
Now they want to send him to the Tour...
Why would he be believing that? People try to follow Van der Poel in classics all the time, yet I‘ve never seen any of Van der Poel‘s fans imply that this means they believe they‘re as good as Van der Poel.
