I saw thousands real fans that disagreed with that today. It's boring. Even Kelly was willing to be honest about it today. It's stupid boring, with Seixas being the only interesting thing to happen.

It was super boring for sure.I saw thousands real fans that disagreed with that today.

Dominance is boring in any sport. It isn't personal to Pog. I freely admit that there has never been a cyclist to equal him. That doesn't mean the races are interesting. They aren't.I saw thousands real fans that disagreed with that today.
Best of both worlds. Seeing greatness at display and a good fight behind with the next generation of super-stars.It was super boring for sure.
Those fans had a field day because they saw the phenomenal rider everybody wants to see / take pictures of / applaud /... riding solo so they couldn't miss him. And they had the fight for the podium. But the race for first was anything but exciting. One (fans enjoying the race) doesn't exclude the other (utter domination = no excitement for who's going to win).
Some people feel like that. Other feels differently. A majority of real fans loves cycling more than ever now. Those matter the most.Dominance is boring in any sport. It isn't personal to Pog. I'd rather watch a race like the women's race today. It was a fight to the end. Women's cycling is a far superior sport to watch, these days. Some people feel like that. Other feels differently.
Thanks for letting me know.I'd rather watch a race like the women's race today. It was a fight to the end. Women's cycling is a far superior sport to watch, these days.
You're welcome...I guess...Thanks for letting me know.
But I don't know if you are aware but right now, you are supporting Seixas and there is a real possibility he will become in the future what is Pogacar at this moment.Dominance is boring in any sport. supporting him today does not commit one to support a possible future dominanceBut I don't know if you are aware but right now, you are supporting Seixas and there is a real possibility he will become in the future what is Pogacar at this moment.
Crows don't tell the whole story; they are influenced by the weather in cycling just as much. It's TV viewing that would give you a fairer picture.Crowd today was bigger than one has ever seen on the last climbs today in this race. I think it is doing just fine.
Not really. Most of these channels or subscriptions comes with paying for it. So more or less ratings can have many different factors to them. Maybe it was sunny today in a lot of places and people were out. See how that works?Crows don't tell the whole story; they are influenced by the weather in cycling just as much. Seixas is, right now, the second best in the world (at 19), until further evidence is forthcoming. Sure, there is Jonas, but I think the Dane is mentally done.Still doesnt support your claim, yet.
He is not right now, but maybe after the season. We need further evidence.Seixas is, right now, the second best in the world (at 19), until further evidence is forthcoming. Sure, there is Jonas, but I think the Dane is mentally done.
I'm saying on performances, talent and age Who could have done better than Pogacar today, and at his age? Better than the Bull, Del Toro, who didn't live up to his name, despite not having to work. We need big cols and long TTs in GTs to verity. But it looks as if the next chosen one has arrived, for now.He is not right now, but maybe after the season. We need further evidence.
Not disagreeing about Jonas, but he still ahead. Then there is still MVDP and Remco. A few others as well.
I dont doubt things could change, we will see, but he is not at the place you are saying in this moment of time.
It is still too early to say he is the second best rider, right now.I

It's of course hard to compare such different riders, but until they drop a few levels, Pogacar and MVP are the top 2 until the end of PR, since 2023 (even if both improved a lot after) they've been the only true aliens in this period. After PR MVP is basically gone and this discussion will become more relevant.Seixas is, right now, the second best in the world (at 19), until further evidence is forthcoming. Sure, there is Jonas, but I think the Dane is mentally done.
And I will then think the sport is boring. I am supporting Seixas now, because I would like to see someone there to challenge Pog, so races will be interesting. And even at his best, I don't think Seixas will ever be as dominant as Pog. Pog is a once in a several lifetimes, talent. But I don't know if you are aware but right now, you are supporting Seixas and there is a real possibility he will become in the future what is Pogacar at this moment.
Wait and see.It is still too early to say he is the second best rider, right now.
Thats all Im saying.Wait and see.
