Stybar riding a good Tour de Suisse

I was more impressed by his top 10 finish on one of the tough uphill sprints. Also in the stage Sagan won it took quite a while before he was dropped from the main group, think there were only about 20 guys left when he was dropped. So he's certainly a huge talent.

Anyone who knows what such results translate to among the pros always reserves judgement.

The Giro delle Regioni almost never lies.

Anyway, do what I did recently, go back to old editions of Giro delle Regioni, Tour l'Avenir and World Ch U23. So many of those names have become good to very good pro's, I'm not talking about just the top 10, but 70% of the participating field.
U23 races DO tell you more than you think. I'm hardly ever suprised at a young rider breaking through because I've seen his name before in some conti/U23 race. The only time I'm ever suprised is when riders come from different sports that I don't follow. Like mountainbikers, thriatletes etc... I don't know them so I'm baffled when they suddenly pop up.
