And it does look like the UAE guy, handing bottles was just past the Visma guy...and it's entirely possible that Jorgensen blocked him intentionally.
He did it on purpose. Pogacar says Visma do this constantly so it wasn't the first time.
Matteo didn't even react to Pogacar so it's clear he did it on purpose.
This interview with Matteo tell us everything. He doesn't even explain, just avoided any answer.

I really do hate things like that in any arena. The world is stressful enough, and sport is stressful enough. Intentionally messing with a simple thing like a feed is just adding stress unnecessarily, it's just stupid, especially when the guy you're poking a guy can rip your legs off whenever he wants. Plus, what harm is there in showing respect to another rider? I know I am bombastic, and can be really confrontational, so this may be hypocritical of me, but I think encouraging more kindness in the world doesn't hurt anyone.

No idea about the context or what Mateo has been up to, or whether he blocked Pogacar from a bottle or not. But I think the issue was less the shove and more the clear intent, successfully implemented, to prevent him from getting a bottle.
Yeah, but I haven't seen anything (yet) to convince me of that intent either.

Oh well. It's the Tour, everything gets amplified. I'm tilting at windmills to wish it weren't all so dumb.

We have sometimes our heated discussions but I must say I like your authenticity.

Why is there no animosity in the classics between Mathieu and Tadej and only respect?
Because they're both attacking riders who take risks to win.

I think clearly Pogi and Vingo respect one another's talent, but I also thing Pogi doesn't respect the way they race or the way the team, or rather it's spokesman talks and dictates tactics.

Plus, come Tour time, they're not competing directly... at least not as much as with Visma.

Pogacar said he will probably race the Vuelta. Good news!

If Almeida finishes the Tour in this condition, I think he'll be given a rest and won't be in the Vuelta.

If they deliberately tried to disrupt his feeding, I think that's a low blow. That's bellow the belt.

Having said that, this just adds to the rivalry. Let it build up. And we're here to watch it unfold live. :D
