Good Valverde needs to sacrifice himself. and Gesink would be smart to stay in between Valverde and Rui in the descent, so they don't double team you and ride away from you.

Frank has 52 Danielson 26, not enough for frank descending over Valverde + Costa

Depends. Over Valverde if he was the leader, then no, but we don't know how deep Costa had to go to stay that close on the climb.

Oh well this is decent form building anyway with the tour in mind.

Actually, climbers will have to surprise attack 2k before a summit and then take time in the descent to be able to get enough of a gap with the more notorious TTers.

I can't see them take enough time on the 2 ascents they have with 90-100k of ITT.

I think Evans in the Dauphine was testing himself and wiggins in the descent, to see if he could take time there.

Lots of straight sectors that Alex rides faster which is even worse. :( The final hill isn't suited for attacks at all if he decided to go away so early?

That's a gorgeous descent I have to say, I'm really jealous of the riders today. Too bad you always have to climb up a mountain first before being able to go down. ;)
