This is proper good course design. Shame that it's the only truly great stage of the race, but super hard climb with 40 to go + easy final climb = great racing.

1 and only hard climb, 40k to the finish, people having brains removed behind = group sprint

Only problem is the current pros have no idea how to race such a stage. You need to shatter the group and make the selection early, or everyone will come together in the descent.

Valverde has this all under control, keep the group together now then he is the fastest in the sprint if time bonus issue

Rui just needs to take a couple of deep breaths and prepare to suffer a bit more in a few k if he wants to win this.

frank won't have any bonus again so that's a good thing for him

Valverde is trying to move people, because now that they caught Frank the Rabos aren't going to do squat.

Epic idea pitting a climb with 40k to go.

It would've been great if there was another great climb to follow it up, but now it's just a lousy climb with waaay too much flat before it.

Now we only need to see Gesink get dropped on the last climb, valverde attack and Costa will win the race thanks to the great work of the Rabos....honestly, Gesink rides like a junior!!!
