Check his 89 results. He finished in the mid 90s. Behind Paul Kimmage. Riis is the biggest surprise when taking into consideration the advancement of EPO use in the early 90s. He had prior results. When Lance became a pro, EPO was in use. Riis not so much.

You do know Riis actually admitted using EPO in that Tour right?
