Head and shoulders above everyone else. What can you say about this man.

Will be hard to beat in LBL, especially with such a strong team around him.
If he wants, he can just play it safe and trust his doms to deliver him to the foot of Roche-aux-Faucons and then attack, think he will distance closests competitors with at least 15s on the climb. And if someone attacks away (Remco), just follow and attack on Faucons.

But he might want to make a statement in LBL, attack on La Redoute and show he can stay away from a chasing Remco. It's quite hilly after La Redoute, and with two climbs, so he will gain time on chasers when it goes upwards.

Sure, there is still a risk the shape will be a bit worse after many tough races, but even a Pog in less then top shape is a formidable rider that's hard to beat.

Just hope Remco can challenge him a bit so we at least get a fight.

He's not at his best right now, he peaked for MSR, RVV, and Roubaix. He's still performing exceptionally well, of course. Impressive in the saddle how effortless he just rode away. Entirely different league to noones suprise.

Imagine what he’ll do when he enters his natural habitat—the mountains.

This year, he has clearly gained more power (as evidenced by his performance at MSR). Comparing his wattage from last year to this year is astonishing, night and day difference even. One can only imagine the power output he delivered at Roubaix, must have been off the charts.

What he’ll accomplish when he transitions to his natural habitat in the mountains will surpass everything from last year—crazy town numbers and everyone should see it coming imo, the signs are ingraved in the wall.

An increase in short duration peak power at a seemingly heavier weight does not necessarily portend improvement in the mountains.

Not necessarily, but the signs are more than there from everything we can judge upon. From everything we can observe, for reference points we got it points to the same conclusion, so it should come as no surprise all im saying.

Also, it’s not just about short power data. At MSR, which offers direct comparison to 2024, there were multiple efforts—short, indeed—but the wattage levels were almost laughable by the numbers honestly, and he managed 6–7 such efforts without running empty. RVV is harder to use as a reference point, but the performance displayed there speaks for itself; the wattage was through the roof. As for Roubaix, the overall power output must have been off the charts, showcasing sustained efforts rather than small bursts.

I dont think your going out on a limb for anyong paying attention saying he will blow his own numbers from 24 out of the park when he gets into his natural habitat.

I had Pogačar to win but not by this margin, that seated acceration was absolutely brutal and awesome to watch. Definitely the favourite to take a third Liège/ninth monument win next Sunday.
LBL is his kindergarten. People underrate how that route favors his climbing ability. And we will have a new climb on the menu, the hardest climb in the race (Col de Haussire - 3.9 km at 7.2%.). This climb will do some damage even if it's too far away from the finish line.
