POGGENHEIMER on the launch pad![]()
No crashes until Hautacam and I'm happyPOGGENHEIMER on the launch pad![]()
Vingegaard already said he would make the Giro if he knew he wasn't able to compete in the Tour
don't know what you think but after analzyng the two TTs, especially the one in stage 13, my prediction is that pog will loose a bit more than a minute to vingegaard across these two stages
Pog wil put at least 30 sec on vingo across these two TTdon't know what you think but after analzyng the two TTs, especially the one in stage 13, my prediction is that pog will loose a bit more than a minute to vingegaard across these two stages
So you expect Pogacar to lose how much in the second TT?don't know what you think but after analzyng the two TTs, especially the one in stage 13, my prediction is that pog will loose a bit more than a minute to vingegaard across these two stages

Big family. What a difference between this and a team with Ayuso.
I saw a picture of a v5rs with TT aero drops, probably the set up he will use on the mttA minute in a flat time trial?
Last year he finished 12 seconds behind Remco. He might not have done as well, but a minute seems too much to me compared to Vingegaard.
I think Pogacar will win at Peyragudes. It's all uphill. They won't even use a ITT bike.
Almeida will be Pogacar's last man so Yates will work before him.

I believe we underestimate the importance of the setup and specific training for the MTT in stage 12. Imo vingegaard has prepared specifically both in terms of training and materials for that stage while UAE and pog have gone less deep. It's a strange TT, with 3kms of flat at the beginning and a climb with not excessive gradientsBold. He can lose some time in the first ITT (IMO max. 20-30 seconds but it can also be very close). As for the second, the better climber on a given day will win and it has nothing to do with TT abilities/setup (still, I don't expect more than 30 seconds between them regardless who is stronger in the race).
30-35 seconds, I know it's a lot and I might be completely wrong and pog ends up winning that stage, but I have this feeling that vingegaard and visma have prepared that stage way more specifically than pog. I hope I am wrongSo you expect Pogacar to lose how much in the second TT?
Yep there are leaked pictures on bikeradar. But it seems like it's not entirely clear which setup pog will use. I feel like pog is not as comfortable as vingegaard pushing watts on a climb while in aero position (which may be simply due to the fact he has less time to train that skill)I saw a picture of a v5rs with TT aero drops, probably the set up he will use on the mtt
What setup? It is a 8% climb with 8 km of lenght. They will race in a road bike without a doubt.I believe we underestimate the importance of the setup and specific training for the MTT in stage 12. I will tell you one thing. Do you know what his Pogacar's speciality? 20 minutes climbs. He will ride it under 18'30".30-35 seconds, I know it's a lot and I might be completely wrong and pog ends up winning that stage, but I have this feeling that vingegaard and visma have prepared that stage way more specifically than pog. Yes, they will use the road bike, but the question is about the use of TT aero extensions on the road bike. These can be helpful on the first 3 kms of flat, but also on the first part of the climb where there are 5-6% gradients. What setup? It is a 8% climb with 8 km of lenght. I know that, actually pogacar's specialty is pretty much every climb. Maybe I will be completely wrong and it's just me overanalizyng materials and setupI will tell you one thing. Do you know what his Pogacar's speciality? 20 minutes climbs. He will ride it under 18'30".
Of course you are. Aerodynamics are not that important when you are at 7-8%. It will be a test of sheer power and I'm expecting Pogacar to produce a 7.5 w/kg performance.I know that, actually pogacar's specialty is pretty much every climb.
