In GTs? Never. If Vinge wins the Giro as well, his palmeres will be better than Pogs.
4 TdF + 1 Vuelta > 2 TdF, +1 Giro + 1 Vuelta
The Tour is still the Tour. For some reason LA is a legend

After Montreal there are 4 races and if he wins 3 of them he would have again brilliant season. Next week he has TT so i still think that should impact his preparation and would read to much if he doesn't win Montreal.
Isn't It 4TdF+1Giro to 2TdF+1Vuelta?In GTs? Never.

Not sure how you can make that claim? Pogacar has already won 5 Grand Tours including 4 TdF's, defeating Jonas directly in the last two. And then add one day races, monuments and world champs. If Vinge wins the Giro as well, his palmeres will be better than Pogs.
No. I made a mistake but it's:Isn't It 4TdF+1Giro to 2TdF+1Vuelta?
Who has the right palmares? No. I made a mistake but it's:
4 TdF+1 Giro > 2 TdF+1Vuelta+1 Giro
I mean, before the Giro Pogacar can have 3 (or 4, who knows) more monuments and another WC.If Vinge wins the Giro as well, his palmeres will be better than Pogs.
Tadej better watch out for Pidcock next year. The beast is coming
@Lequack is saying Vingegaard will have a better palmares if he wins the Giro.Who has the right palmares?
That means this Vuelta has been the equivalent of two Tours, one World Championship, eight Monuments, more stages in the TDF, and other races.@Lequack is saying Vingegaard will have a better palmares if he wins the Giro.
Maybe but it's not the type of post I would expect from him.You guys are falling for obvious rage bait from Lequack. I saw through it so i didn't bother responding.
When did Vingo win the Giro? No. I made a mistake but it's:
4 TdF+1 Giro > 2 TdF+1Vuelta+1 Giro
You need to read everything. See what Lequack said. When did Vingo win the Giro?
Del Toro might come up with the ride of his life to punctuate his storybook first 2 years but a long shot.Visma made 1-2-3 in the European Champioinship
I don't think what you're saying will happen. UAE riders are almost always disappointing in GT (gc), Monuments, and World Championships.
Del Toro might be, and I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get as good a result as expected. The World Championships are much tougher than any one-day race he's done, and he struggled in San Sebastian
.Aside from Pogacar and Del Toro, I don't see three other UAE riders in the top 5.
Ayuso? Maybe. But he´s no longer a UAE rider. And all of his performances at that distance have been disappointing. But we´ll consider him.
What other two?
But the comments are definitely different. If Pogacar were Vingegaard today and the second his domestique, the forum would be on fire![]()
Lequack,I hope you are referring to GTs (only). If you are saying overall (counting WC and monuments), it's a ridiculous take.
Not so hot favorite. Still 1st favorite but not such obvious one like for Rwanda and 2027. Only end of the route seems like GP Montreal. With UAE that is different than with Slovenia. Next year he will 100% do Vuelta. He can't risk betting all on WC like this year.WCRR 2026 will be similar to GP Montreal. Pogacar will be the hot favorite again.
You won't convince me UAE is even a stressor. The flat stages are so easy you're probably detraining if you're a top level professional![]()
‘The First Time You Don’t See the Smile on His Face’: Agent Reveals What Was Giving Tadej Pogačar the Tour de France Blues
Top agent Alex Carera speaks about finding the joy again, and how Tadej Pogačar can keep it: 'He was non-stop from January to July.'velo.outsideonline.com
His agent speaks about why Pogacar was burnt out at the end of the Tour. As expected, heavy spring schedule and no time to rest at home (training camps straight after Liege) were the reason. He needs a lighter schedule next year to do the Vuelta: UAE, Amstel and maybe Fleche should be dropped from his calendar first. Still, cobbles monuments complicate things as this combo is by far the most difficult. As long as he does it he may feel like "screw the Vuelta" every August.
