Re: Lombardia squad. Really want a good last race for Majka; I understand why he's retiring, but wish he'd give it a few more years.
He will set a high pace to rip the peloton.
GdL will be ridiculously predictable, probably a GP Montreal version 2.

UAE will look like this:
Pogacar
Del Toro
Sivakov
Majka

It's very likely these 4 will race. Then they still had in great shape:
McNulty
Christen
Politt
Wellens

They will arrive to Passo Ganda with 20 riders in the peloton.

Rafal explained it in one of his interviews. UAE wanted him to stay and he still feels like he could continue for a few more years but he doesnt want to lose precious family time anymore.

Hes had a good career (great stage wins and polka dot jersey at the Tour, top3 in Vuelta and Olympics) and his last few years were also good: he enjoyed helping the greatest rider of the modern era and riding with less pressure than before (as he said, it was easier).

UAE is losing one of the most loyal and reliable climbers in the team. I don't know how they will replace him for next year.

His team for sunday was released. Jesus Christ, it's so bad eheheh.
If I was other nations, I would attack on the second time they pass the big climb.
Not sure what you're talking about. He has the strongest team in this race. He has Govekar, Mohoric, Novak, Almeida, Morgado, Christen and Grosschartner, plus a bunch of continental Slovenians.

And Remco, who ordered Vermeersch to work for him.
Belgium toughened the race and prevented breakaways like no Slovenian rider could have. They did him the first 100 kilometers of the race.
The same favor they did for Finn in the U23 category.

But Remco has the organization's car to complete the lap 40 seconds faster.
