If Pog want to shake Vinge, UAE must be prepared to sacrifice Yates and Almedia's GC ambitions. It is only if they go really hard I can see a Pog attack actually succeed.

It can be double-edged sword for them. I think they will be vary of counter attack and that is why Pogi is not happy vasting bonus seconds in first two stages.

What did he say after the stage? Is he already paying for the Giro? Normally he would have no problem dropping Vingegaard if he went in the steep part but they might be saving themself for stage 4?

Normally? What are you basing that on?

Vingegaard is [[messing]] with Pog's head. During week three it's over.

Paying for the Giro? He's in great form, crushing San Luca record and easily gaping everyone...except YouKnowWho.

- Is the weather against him?
- Are the Giro legs already noticeable?
- The UAE, which was completely dominant, is now tired? Before they barely ran a stage.
- Vingegaard doesn't help as soon as Tadej jerks his shoulder?

Don't start with excuses and lose heart everyone already. Granted he got the world's chance at the double when Vingegaard crashed, if he doesn't take this one he has only himself and no one else to blame.

What's this insanity I'm hearing about Pog deliberately trying to lose time at the end so that Evenepoel took the jersey?

I mean surely... every second counts? It seems like such a bizarre thing I can't quite wrap my head around it.

Where did you hear that?

He was trying to let Remco get away in the sprint, but against Vingegaard, every second counts, so he couldn‘t let a gap open in the end.

Not type of climb? Well, he has won FW and smashed the competition on La Redoute this year.
Still a climb that suits Pog better than Vinge. Wouldn't you agree?
He didnt really attack in the climb but more so over the top and he heard Roglic had been dropped. A surprise and improvised, which Vinge was the only one able to follow.

The pace was brutal already so his attack (even if a bit too late) was devastating to the rest. 2360 m/h of VAM is not a joke. Vingo was simply very strong today. It's kinda nightmare for Pog and his fans having Vingo on his wheel again.

I think you are exaggerating. Never was this gonna be a walk in the park and Vinge is still Vinge. I expected this. Seems like a lot of people underestimated Vinge, god knows why.
