Has anyone been as big a favourite for a one day race? Even Valverde in Fleche wasn't this nailed on.

MVDP was an extremely heavy favourite for Roubaix this year with no Wout and having crushed everyone the week before in Flanders.

This is the only one I can think of bar MVDP at Flanders this year, if this even counts as a classic.

Thats a good roster. Wouldnt mind seeing Vine but thats a good roster for Lombardia.

MVDP was an extremely heavy favourite for Roubaix this year with no Wout and having crushed everyone the week before in Flanders.

But it's much more of a lottery than Lombardia.

No great surprise to see Ayuso drop out but Fisher-Black riding is surprising and would have expected Wellens to be there.

one thing is certain: his body has clearly changed compared to previous years. Probably due to the change of coach, and he is getting "older" but if you take his appearance compared to 2021/2022, today his body is more sculpted, visually you can appreciate the muscle bands etc. before he was stockier, bigger

Word is yeah their just getting started with the new training regime. Logical since they flipped the switch entirely so I assume they got more to tap out.

Also its very easy to forget about Pogacar when he has been the best for so long that he is only 26, so he is also in that age where its natural he only will improve and get stronger which again is yeah crazy.
