4 monuments + Worlds will never be a failure. It will be ~top 5 season in the history of sportNah. He can win 4 monuments + WC, but without the Tour his season is a failure. That's how big standards with Pogacar are.

Gent is quite similar to E3 in terms of difficulty except the oude in E3. he can open the race early and make it an attrition race. His problem is Wva who doesn't have the ba*** to work with either of pog or mvdp like we saw in 2023 E3He has to get rid of van der Poel, Pedersen and van Aert to win. In a sprint all three are normally stronger..
The climbs are easier than E3 and Tour of Flanders and are further off the finish line, so I would say it´s the most difficult one out of the three to win for him...
It will be if he doesn't win the Tour. Mark my words.4 monuments + Worlds will never be a failure. It will be ~top 5 season in the history of sport

Not me for sure but there are a couple of Pogi haters here.In front of whom? If anyone considers 4 monuments+WC a failure, he is deluded.
$10 says that *** splits in half on a rider in the pro peloton.I just saw the moose antler handlebars on the new Colnago Y1RS, and I just wanted to say this is just brilliant stuff, Ernie, you magnificent git wizard.
Coolnago forever.
It will be in 2029. Pogi will be 30 exactly, the Worlds are in Denmark which will be totally flat. 25/26/27 he will have good course in the worlds so will target that and LA Olympics should be hilly and suit him which will be a target. 2029 will be the year he does all 3Their talking about the treble (Giro-Tour, Vuelta) still now with the answer ''not this year'' implying many times he will go for it.
I think next year maybe actually or the year after we might have that window, they say he will go for it once and I doubt its after he is 30. Age wice it make sense.
Indeed that the WC route plays a vital part into that equation, but so does age.It will be in 2029. 2028 will be in Abu Dhabi. 2 consecutive WC? I don't believe that.It will be in 2029. 2 consecutive flat WC? There are hills in Denmark? This is dreadful...It's in Denmark https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/de...-host-2029-and-2030-road-world-championships/
And tbf there won't have been a flat worlds from 2017 to 2028 so the sprinters are due some
Greetings and warm welcome. Ur also right that he will do the Vuelta is very very likely barring any missfortunes.I’m more a reader than writer on this forums, but I just wonder why many of you guys assume that he will only do a one GT, which is Tour de France. They’ve said that he is doing Tour de France and Giro or Vuelta.
As a I said before I just wonder why this assumption has been made. I’ll be very greatful if you explain.
In my opinion he will do TdF and Vuelta. Giro is to close to Classics.
Have a good night everybody (or day if there’s somebody not from Europe 😉).
Ps. I’m also impressed how everyone respect each others on this forums. I’m from Poland and in our cycling community almost nobody have respect to other opinions.
It has been said by our guiding phropet @mou that the team will wait to see how hard the tour is on him before deciding on the vuelta. They really want a strong crack at the WC ITT and RR + Lombardia and will sacrifice the vuelta for it.I’m more a reader than writer on this forums, but I just wonder why many of you guys assume that he will only do a one GT, which is Tour de France. People are saying he will only race the Tour because his racing program is very heavy and doing 2 GTs in a row is very tough to your body. You must be fresh and prepare wisely this feat (Tour-Vuelta) in order to not have a burnout.I’m more a reader than writer on this forums, but I just wonder why many of you guys assume that he will only do a one GT, which is Tour de France. What will this change? I think nothingNot sure how widely it is being reported but he is bringing in his long time friend Ziga Jerman as his soigneur? Formerly at Ineos.
