Dont know if discussed but PCS has him added to Dauphine.
Dauphine + Tour double and then a break in August if everything goes to plan. Makes the most sense to me.

They aren’t talking about and they shouldn’t, but I’ll bet they are indeed interested in the treble at uae and would sacrifice the Spanish triple crown for it. Either one is tantalizing because no one dared to think of it before
It is about managing himself and other targets as well.
He can win the Vuelta later. Maybe stop being so adamant about it. We will see how he feels after the Tour, but if he does Dauphine... he probably wont do Vuelta. Everything going to plan in the races prior. It has been my prediction at least.
Dont take much for things to change in this sport though if something happens during the season.

AFAIK they are going to decide between Giro and Vuelta, but it’s 100% sure that he will ride 2 GT. This assumption about him going to only 1 GT is bad imo.
I am not assuming. He will decide after the Tour. My prediction is he wont, if everything goes to plan before.
Giro is pretty much out of the picture I think.

I have a secret desire of seeing Pogacar winning in Angliru.
He already won a WC, Vuelta should be a priority. First rider to win Tour+Vuelta+WC, this is GOAT stuff!
Vuelta should not be a priority atm.
Adding another worlds title on a course that suits him is an opportunity he should take.
Target Vuelta in a year it makes more sense. Not this year.
He is already the GOAT so doesnt matter.

Next year, he can win in Montreal again or in 2027. So I don't understand your desire to see him out of the Vuelta.

Even if he says that he'll do the Vuelta, the last decision will be after the Tour. Given that Vingegaard is very likely doing Tour-Vuelta, I don't think Pogacar will put himself through 2 very hard battlea with Vingegaard before the Worlds.

It is not my desire. I just understand why it doesnt makes sense or why he could opt to skip it if everything goes to plan and if he wants/needs a break.

If he wins the Tour easily I think he does the Vuelta. If he didn't have any intention, he'd just say "I'm doing only one GT".
We just said he wont decide until after the Tour... so he doesnt have to say anything atm.
If he has good spring, wins Dauphine and Tour. I dont think he will do Vuelta. He will take a break and go for Worlds + Lombardia as his fall targets.
It is not about Pog being the better rider or not. He clearly is.

That's not based on anything. Vingegaard rode 2 GT's once and he was good enough in the Vuelta. With a bit more specific preparation he can be a beast in the Vuelta.

Someone in Spain can ask his camp at their camp!! Think that they are at Luxor in Costa Blanco!! New kits look very cool!! Pictures I saw was @30 guys standing there with Pogacar front and center!! UAE has a couple of basketball player sized guys!!

Yes it is. He shows up in July with monster performances and does little else. Including the ITT in ‘23 vuelta where he crapped his bibs and went from rocket ship at the tour to top ten in Spain

Yes, it is easy to be good in Vuelta after the Tour. Dude was in his home country playing with his daughter
