Regarding stage 8 today, not sure if pog is "playing with their balls" or wanting to pad his lead and might pay for these shorter efforts later. I would suspect more the former, but I guess time will tell.

I think the "you left me too early" followed by Majka's "yes, sorry, sorry, sorry" indicates a quite clear power dynamic. But yeah, not that bad obviously.

Of course there is leader dynamic, but I do not think the “cycling is just fun” is an act. He just loves riding his bike and most of all winning.

I think he felt a bit stress on the Planche stage because it was la plance and with his girlfriend waiting and the foundation being launched…

Well she's on the startlist on PCS, I guess we will have to see. She didn't ride the women's Giro this week.

Never trust the startlsts on PCS, at least not for women's races. And never trust any startlists two weeks in advance. Especially not in these Covid times.

My understanding is that she will ride the TDF which was always the plan - This is is even more certain with Santesteban and Spratt both suffering COVID positives in the last 2 weeks.

I think the 'he can't handle heat' is a bit much. Far too small a sample size.....until it actually happens consistently, then it's a myth. I also think it's a hope he has a weakness more than anything.

Pogacar has a bigger problem than heat right now. He is on thin ice regarding COVID. Bennett is out, Majka is positive. Vinge may turn out to be luckiest man alive if another Slovenian is in trouble.
