Yes, and I'm almost sure Roglic will not be able to tolerate 274 km. Not this Roglic from 2024

I'm mainly talking about being in the 2nd group in the race. i.e. being a factor even if clearly not at the level of Pogacar and Evenepoel.

Because it is dude. Maybe it is the other way around and it is you the problem. You can't handle the fact a rider you don't care can surpass you beloved belgian Merckx. And it is even more hurtful to see that Remco can't be anywhere close to the level of Pogacar despite all the hype he had in his youth. Even Merckx said Pogacar is the only one who can come close to him, not Remco. This might be hurtful for a belgian but you have to accept.

Of course it is not fact but it is also not a fact this season isn't better than Merckx's best season. It is also your opinion/feeling. No, mine is based on facts. You can check any ranking that attributes points to places and positions. Merckx currently has 7 seasons better than Pogacar’s 2024

No one cares about minor wins. It is all about GT's, monuments and WC. A lot of rankings put Roglic as a better rider than Froome and Contador, we all know this is not true.

Merckx is the most complete and talented rider ever.

He was also a sprinter who could beat those guys in a flat stage.
