Get ready ladies & gentleman, 🐐 is finally admitting it🤩 cipressa attack is incoming! Here is how, polit,bjerg position the team to the front for the tre cappis as the race will start from there on. Novak all out on the first two cappis then narvaez all out like sprint on capo berta(2km@7%) with around 25 guys left in the peleton & 37km to go then narvaez will do what formolo did in 2022(dragging the field to the start of poggio) riding for 11 km till the start of cipressa(26km to go) then wellens 1km all out on the 5.6 km climb then the rest is history... i've been dreaming about this since i saw his 🌈 form. If he is in his worlds form by then he wins it by more than a minute

It would be a mistake to only have climbers left for the flat before Cipressa. Better to save someone like Bjerg for that.

Its all about putting as many kilojoules as possible on his rivals. In 2022 formolo rode with around 25-30 riders on his wheel till the start of poggio

You can do that after Cipressa because of the time gaps. Not possible from Berta to Cipressa.

Why is that? After the finish of berta its only 11 kms till the start of cipressa. Do you think any domestique will come back after narvaez goes ballistic on his speciality climb?

That depends on who and how many pull the peloton before the start of Cipressa. If Narvaez goes all-out on Berta, he won't have the power to keep the dropped riders behind for all that flat on his own.

The problem is: will Narvaez not burn UAE domestiques with an all out pace?

There's more than 9 km of flat after the descent of Berta. I've never seen Narvaez strong on the flat.

I fixed the list. Should Pog race all of them then there will be a clean sweep. We shall discuss this at this time next year and realize that it would be a thing never happened before and to never happen again.

I like this. It’s one or the other. I happen to think uae favors another assault on worlds+Lombardia and would save the treble for a different year. Next year they can also fully gird up to see what a healthy Vingo poses for their tdf defense.

P-R is another consideration. He might feel some interest to start riding P-R straight away if he can finally solve MSR.

It’s a little insane to be talking about how to tactically maximize a season with this many goals. But here we are

Its all about the kilojoules game that matters in this race he has to hurt many with the hope wellens hung on to it. I hope uae are smart enough as visma are in order to win the race.

Possibility of his saying would be a super hard capo berta where they hope to drop many domestiques of other teams so that they avoid last years chaos before cipressa and he would launch there

The course is basically all downhill with very short distance verts. Whatever uae does it has to be tactically perfect to make a difference from last year

What Pog does right now, is a proper snooze fest. It's so predictable and boring (like F1 in Schumacher Ferrari era). You know, he can jump anytime he wants and no one can follow. Another xx km solo for the win. If that's not boring, i don't know what it is.

Every dominance like that becomes boring quick. Fanboys are happy, because they only chase the latest winners and will climb on the next bandwagon, when Pog slows down. And Pog real fans are happy for sure. Every other cyclists fan will probably skip the next race Pog is in, because why bother watching one guy winning and other kids playing in the background?

Good thing is, nothing lasts forever and cycling can change quickly.

Yeah, breakaway riders need 5 minutes before the start of a climb to have a chance.

The problem is Pogi can't drop MVP or WVA. How is Pogacar going to drop them?

Hope they either have a bad day or end up looking at each other. They hesitate or get boxed in it might be over. You need some luck in MSR no matter who you are.

Last year MVDP didnt ride for himself. He might ride for Philipsen again if he is there.

There are just a lot of different factors or scenarios that could be played out.

I don’t see the organizers doing something like this because of the mystery of the race. Now if pogi happens to win it and doesn’t come back for years they might consider adding it on

MSR is a weird beast for Pogi. Some hills but not enough for him to take a 1 min gap and maintain it.

And the finish is too close to the descent of the last hill, so even if he can get a little gap, some other riders are not afraid to make some sacrifice and leave some energy catching him up.
