Can n't wait for Pogi Porridge to hit the shelves so we can all be GOATs!

I'm aiming to hike up a vertical km in 1 hour but when the porridge is available I'll adjust my goal to half an hour! (becoming a mountain goat then)

Grischa seems quite confident they gonna beat tadej in the tour which tells me jonas is not gonna do giro & we will see them race before the tour in dauphine

Why he wouldn't be confident? Only 2 weeks in intensive care can prevent Vingegaard from being in the top again at the Tour.

Jonas with all respect in reality isnt close at all to Pogacar if Pogacar is not injured, everyone knows that.
I like Vingegaard and as good as he is its very clear to everyone that Pogacar is 3 levels above anyone else thats just the reality.

If you ask I like Vingegaard but I haven't seen him go toe to toe vs Pogacar if Pogacar was full strenght ever, even before Pogacar raised the bar 3 levels like now so I just dont think its close at all now since you ask.

And im saying that as a guy who likes Visma and Jonas and mean no disrespect and wish they was closer. Its like Grischa said, their just up against a ridiculous opponent thats what I feel, he is to good nothing else.

Sure im not trying to make a argument over it, from my side its just what ive seen, in 2022 not that I find that relevant now it was even Roglic/Jonas as helper vs a Pogacar who beat himself as much as they did, I dont think thats relevant anymore and since I wish Vingegaard to do well its a flawed argument if its all we can go by.
We might awswell say Roglic can beat him since he beat him in the Vuelta 2019, I just dont find that argument as relevant and thats all it is to go by, not much substance to it for me as of today.

While i want Vingeaard to be close, I just dont think he will be able to challenge him now, unless he is hurt I just think it will be even more lobsided than we already saw this year, its just what I think. He is to good now.

Don't be silly. A rider able to beat Pogacar in 2 Tours is not 3 steps below him (in stage racing).

I dont think its silly to say I dont think its gonne be close now that Pogacar has raised the level so much.
It was close I think, while I still think Pogacar was better it was close when they both was full strenght before in a GT I dont think its silly or disrespect to say I dont think its close anymore after what I just saw. Thats just what I think.

And you can base your point that Pogacar is miles ahead based on 2024 but that's not accurate as Vingegaard was injured (and his team much weakened). So unless if you 12 months didn't think that Vingegaard is 4 levels above Pogacar in GT's, you don't have a valid argument to claim that Pogacar is 3 levels above him.

Of course it is silly. I can be a Pogi fan but I'm also able to see how Vingegaard is a tough and a honorable challenger. And I know Pogi thinks the same way. He knows only Vingegaard can challenge and prevent him from being the GOAT.

Probably the standard altitude program. Classics in March and April, then rest a week and start to build his shape for the Tour in May (altitude training camp). And another altitude training camp in middle June (2 weeks) before the Tour.

After 2023, I didn't think Vingo was unreachable for Pogi. If we look to 2023 Tour, we can see that Pogacar was better in some stages, Vingegaard was clearly on the ropes a couple of times in that Tour.

vingo demonstrated he had more in the tank than pogi, consistently across the three week span of July. Vingo only raced in July, which I was very bitter Betty about. I had accepted pogi could only beat Vingo on tactics and certainly only if he too focused only on July. Bruyneel spoke the same way of these prospects.

When?
In 2021 Vingegaard had a nasty crash on stage 8 (yes, likely Pogacar would have won anyway but that doesn't change the fact).
Saying that Vingegaard was healthy in 2024 is less of a true than saying Pogacar was healthy in 2023.

We shall see if all those uae guys can stay formulated at the bottleneck before the cipressa. At the bottom of the cipressa 2024 a large group of favorites had totally dismantled the uae train and even left pogi poorly placed heading into the climb.

The key takeaway here is the strategy is the same. The race wil be made on the cipressa.
