The only chance of that happening is if Pogacar is able to make lots of long range attacks and doesn't require Almeida to pull the group.
And even then, Almeida would have to be stronger than everybody other than Vingegaard, which is not likely to happen (even though it might be possible).
No. Almeida just needs to drop Evenepoel in the mountains while working to Pogacar.

It could happen if the final 3-4 selection includes a working almeida
I don't think Almeida is stronger than Remco or Roglic head to head if all are in TDF shape.

And if Almeida has to work hard, there are a few guys that will give him a run for his money if they are in form and if they are GC focused.
Carapaz, Lipowitz, Carlos Rodriguez, Enric Mas, Simon Yates, Gaudu, Buitrago, Lenny Martinez....

A lot has to go his way... even more than last year's TDF.

I agree with you when you talk about Remco and Roglic. All other riders you mentioned have no chance of finishing in front of Almeida (bar Lipowitz).

When you have the time watch and listen to the whole podcast of Tom Danielson.
He brings several interesting topics.
Here are some of them:
15:15 - Jonas has the level and he's raising it according to what he sees from Pogacar. The problem is that Pogacar has more than what he shows.
17:00 - He talks about the TT
32:08 - Tadej holding back on Stage 7
He talks about other things as well so I suggest you listen to the whole show.

We come a long way.still cant believe,we had troubles with kuss.this looks like ancient history, lmao.
The hysterical theatre coming from the commentator was clearly not in synch with the action. Jonas left the group at bend, clogged with other riders and motos that Tadej had to dodge. Looked like he gave up 20 seconds just getting out of the clusterf*k. Jonas definitely was on a ride but wasn't a mano y mano punchfest with Pogi falling asleep in the bunch. Jonas got the strategic drop on him.

Pogacar showed his true level on Combloux. Unfortunately for Jonas the gap is too big right now and I think the gap will not close at all.
