I think tomorrow is a harder parcours that should entice more breakaway riders to attack. I honestly don't think Alpecin will pace because the final 700 meters should suit Pogi more than MVDP.Tomorrow he will win again if the break doesn't succeed
Are u convinced now?Would need more than the musings of Tom Danielson to be convinced of anything like that...
Trivia time: has pogi ever worn (held) the sprinters jersey at the tour?
Think the break will take it tomorrow, but Pog will the next stage, on Mûr-de-Bretange. UAE to ride really hard the first time over the climb and a superhard leadout the second time, MVDP's legs will be mush by then, and Pog will attack and win solo.Tomorrow he will win again if the break doesn't succeed
Did you see the last km? MVP will be cooked by Pogacar.Don't forget VDP is in the race.
Imagine that. It's not impossible, you know. Largely depends on the sprinters distributing point among themselves well..He will have all three in Paris
Re watching the dauphine tt last km of pog would settle this mateNo. Fully expected him to do well today.
Nothing to settle. You have your opinion and I have mine. Cheers.Re watching the dauphine tt last km of pog would settle this mate

I think Pogacar should do Rwanda time trial.
Remco is the big favorite, but there are two hard climbs and two descents.
He was a little faster than Remco in the final part today because it was more technical.
I'm curious about Arkea since Vauquelin seems good right nowI think tomorrow is a harder parcours that should entice more breakaway riders to attack. I honestly don't think Alpecin will pace because the final 700 meters should suit Pogi more than MVDP.
It turned out to be a big GC day for Pogacar. Now he's 1'13'' ahead of Vingo, way better than expected.
He should give it a try, who knows when the WC TT route will be as good for him again. He would have a decent shot at gold (if he's near peak form).
He was either at limit or accurately gauged the effort to go solo to the finish. He wouldn't have held that gap with the amount of downhill against the group and made the appropriate choice. Smart move. He wasted no excess energy in the process. It seems that Pogi dropped Vingo and then cooked himself. He visibly slowed down just before the top.
Last year, he also made up some ground on Remco time trial in the descent. It would be difficult, but it will be his only chance to become world champion. And if Tobias Foss did it, he'd have to
Seriously, I think he has a chance if he chooses his gear better than he did in the Dauphiné.
The Kigali descents are difficult, and Remco could lose time there.
He has nothing to lose by trying.
Yup. Stages 6,7, 8 and 9 are dangerous. After that, I don't think so but we never knowMain concern of Pogi now is to stay safe until stage 12
Vauquelin is fine where he is good, but in high mountains he´ll fail.I'm curious about Arkea since Vauquelin seems good right now
