I can't wait for Hautacam. Really impressive, as I was already the other day when MVDP won
I think UAE could let go tomorrow. Plenty of riders over 10 minutes. I know Teddy is chasing 7 stage wins .. the plan could be "let em go", then some knuckleheads will pull hard in the peloton, then Pogi will say "eh, why not".Yup. Stages 6,7, 8 and 9 are dangerous. After that, I don't think so but we never know
What a beautiful day
Yeah and the MTT. We will see otherwordly numbers for sure.I can't wait for Hautacam. Really impressive, as I was already the other day when MVDP won
I know but tomorrow is a punchy stage.Vauquelin is fine where he is good, but in high mountains he´ll fail.
I'm not so sure he won't do the Vuelta.I think tomorrow breakaway stage is done deal, after 2 crazy hard days and stage 7 also being really suited for Tadej, UAE must let other Teams win something. Also thinking if Pogacar win this TdF+ 5 stages, he will not go to Vuelta and will try to go after WC double. He can not get it all (TdF+Vuelta+WC double) and this year WC route is just made for him (both ITT and RR).
I hope he races the Vuelta too. Only in 2028 WC, the route will not suit him but it is an olympic year so only in 2029 to target Tour-Vuelta.I'm not so sure he won't do the Vuelta.
On one hand, there's the World Championship, but on the other, he's at the ideal age and shape to do the Tour-Vuelta, which is very physically demanding.
The World Championships in the following two years will also suit him well. He can't postpone it for four years and have an accident or be in bad shape.
It's a difficult decision because of the World Championship, but I think the team will tell him what I told you. He has to take advantage of his prime now.
Tomorrow's stage depends on Alpecin. Yesterday, Alpecin controlled 130 kilometers.
Specifically, depends on whether or not the DS watches "mr. knucklehead".Tomorrow's stage depends on Alpecin. Yesterday, Alpecin controlled 130 kilometers.

He could win if Pogacar wasn't in the raceI doubt MVDP can win on this course, so no reason for Alpecin to control.
He would have won the TT ehehehSo, maillot pois skinsuit was a real drag today, clearly.
Ok, but he never did not (in GTs).Another Mou's prediction has come true - Pogačar is now time trialing almost at the level of Remco, stellar ride today.
He always did on Tour. Only surprise was Jonas.Another Mou's prediction has come true - Pogačar is now time trialing almost at the level of Remco, stellar ride today.
A shame. I want him to win 8 stages. What Pogacar said:
UAE won't be chasing stages and will try to stay calm until the rest day.
It will depend on the attitude of other teams, and if they find themselves in a position (to win the stage), they´ll take advantage of it. But they won't be proactive.
If it's for the UAE, the breaks will arrive until Hautacam.
Pogacar is a monster in the Tour. His only peak of the season.Ok, but he never did not (in GTs).
2024 Tour:
Stage 7 - loses 12s on 52.6kmh (so also fast) ITT
Stage 21 - gains 1:13 on a hilly ITT
And other than that, Remco so far refused to show up. So in all 3 GT ITTs they had together, Pogacar on cumulative time was better, with flatter more skewed towards Remco, although not with a great margin.
Depends how big the breaks are in days where MVDP/Pog are not contesting the intermediate as if they take away the first 6 places frequently it will limit what is available for Milan/Girmay and I don’t think Merlier makes it over the mountains but could take points off the other sprinters for the rest of this week.MVP would have to win it outright Sagan style by imposing himself into breaks. UAE might not resist this
