Have you seen Evenepoel during descent of the Galibier? Then look at the map again of that ITT. He definitely lost most time with cornering. There is no way, Pogacar gained 36 seconds just by riding better on corners. No way. He won that time almost due to power.
Happy Birthday young man! Just stay safe and enjoy your day.
I just want 5 more years of Teddy. Then he can retire and have some kids.Never ending Pogacar-Evenepoel debates. @CyclistAbi too bad Rogla isn't there to end this today.
How time flies. A while ago he was 21/22. He's old and washed up now.

Priority will be reconning the course here, no? So I assume he needs to be a bit more upright to properly see the route.Awful position to be honest.

He had a good position in the first time trial of the Tour. He also had a good position in other time trials. Here he seems out of practice.pog simply cant ride tt bike and he probably doesnot really care.look at him, lol.
I think Remco. So what's the experts' verdict? Will Teddy (with his miner position) get crushed by Remco today? Or will his sheer powa prevail?
These descents are faster than in Monaco because there aren't many corners.@Peyroteo94
Watching the women´s race, it's becoming increasingly clear to me that the toughness of this time trial has been exaggerated. The one in Monaco was tougher. The climb and descent in Monaco are incomparable with those descents.
I'm with you. If he loses, it's because someone was better. The race hasn't even started and the excuses are popping out.
Pogacar should win this. They designed it for him.
What I'm saying is he won't find a better route for him in the next decade.I'm with you. If he loses, it's because someone was better.
But don't tell they designed this route for him, it's not true. Rwanda is full of hills.
These descents favor specialists; they're not technical. Remco struggles on technical descents. These descents are faster than in Monaco because there aren't many corners.
Reusser won the race with 43 km/h avg. I expect Pog or Remco to max out at 49-50 km/h avg.
Entirely in Pogacar territory.
These descents are very fast but short. I will say again, if Remco beats Pogacar, it's because he was similar to him on the climbs. These descents favor specialists; they're not technical. Remco struggles on technical descents.
And the climbs aren´t too hard. The Monaco climb was a long one, better for climbers.
Remco is the big favorite for today. I think some specialists made a mistake in not coming.
For the route, Pedersen would have been better than Vingegaard. The Road World Championships is tough, not because it's a stage of the Tour de France, but because of the cobbled section that climbs 15 times. Vingegaard wouldn't have been on the podium here.
I have this feeling that pog will be underwhelming on climbs, when pog is not 100% he tends to underperform on climbs when he's on a TT bike. If pog is at 100% he's the best in the world on a parcours like this, but when he's not 100% he can do underwhelming performances in a TT like this, while on a road race he can win even if he's not at his best. I hope I'm wrong but he might pay that week he could not train and go to altitude before the canadian racesThese descents are very fast but short. I didn't understand that travel. If he was going to give the race, it was better to train in good conditions.I have this feeling that pog will be underwhelming on climbs, when pog is not 100% he tends to underperform on climbs when he's on a TT bike.
