She is the reason why he didn't go to Paris OG, she isn't a reason why he doesn't have OG gold, that would be MvdP if Pogacar went to Paris
This race had more elevation gain than San Remo. Pogacar would have been the bigger favorite.

But shouldn't regret for MVDP because Pogacar didn't go to De Ronde, which he surely would have won.

In any case, the culprit is the national coach who brought a cyclist with worse results than Urska. A coach who was also the sporting director of that other cyclist's team. A conflict of interest they paid dearly for.

I don't see how he could make a difference on a 1km 6% climb, he would certainly be the attacker in that race but I think it would be a reduced bunch sprint

I agree with that, that coach was a total disgrace

It was several steps through the sector in a less controllable race, as we saw; it's not the same as San Remo, which only has two key moments.
Why should we consider the rider who was there and was surprised, like in Zurich, to be the favorite?

Pogacar would have been the favorite in that race.

But it doesn't matter, it wasn't Urska's fault, but rather the fault of the national coach who was also the sporting director of the girl he favored, despite her having worse results than Urska.

A huge mistake on the part of the federation

However you spin it, it was Pogacar decision to make and he abstained from the Olympics because of Urska. Maybe Mou is on to something this time around as well? It’s not the first time though, Lennon was never the GOAT after he met Yoko.

Urska has been there since before Pogacar's rise into eventually becoming the best road cyclist right now and arguably one of, if not the closest rider you can compare to Merckx. I don't get why you're even considering if that guy is right.

Whatever you say man … I am not part of the entourage so I do not know , but Mou was right before even Brunel thought so , maybe he is again.

The worst possible way to be malicious while staying unpunished is through this kind of gossip. Tadej has a huge number of fans, but also plenty of people who can’t wait for his downfall to begin, and this kind of rumor is the best possible tool for such people. Using a close person in a rumor that is objectively the most incorrect is a special kind of malice. Tadej was already with Urška before the start of his pro career, and the fact is that she’s a big part of the team that guided him to an incredible career.
To call Tadej a “beta male” even though he went after the toughest opponents on their home turf in a single year, without excuses, and didn’t run away from dangerous races he could have easily skipped, is simply ridiculous. Ever since people started saying this year that Tadej is depressed, he won the TdF, the World Championships, the European Championships, and the GdL — what kind of depression is that?
And the final fact that proves what a strong character Tadej is: with his withdrawal from the Olympics, he exposed the corruption of the Slovenian women’s national team coach, who only went public after(!!!) Tadej’s withdrawal because of the unfair selection of female riders for the Olympics. The president of the Slovenian Cycling Federation had to explain himself on national television and publicly admit that the women’s selection made no sense to him either. The decision that Urška would not go to the Olympics because of Urša Pintar — who then ended up DNF in the road race and among the last in the time trial — was so absurd that Tadej competing in the Olympics would have meant he had no backbone and was a disloyal person. But apparently, malicious people interpret this as being a “beta male...”

BTW how can their trainings be compatible? Pogi's Z2 vs Urshka's high intensity Z4/Z5 session? Or maybe just Pogi's recovery Z1 ride and Urshka's Z2/Z3.
They were just doing group rides with other UAE riders, Omrzel and couple of other pro riders that were there. It is a chill time of the year, where the weather is nice and you can ride your bike.

Then they did some solo and separate stuff as well judging by her posts.

It aint deeper than that.

For sure but I don't think a muddy Roubaix would increase his chances on victory, quite the opposite in fact
It would significantly increase the attrition rate and make the race much more selective and easier to make gaps from sustained power which would favour him but it would also make technician skills even more valuable which would obviously favour MVDP.

Luck would be a bigger factor too.

Salah has been rubbish all season and still living off the 24/25 season and name value for this award nomination.
No idea what Salah is doing there but everyone here is just going to vote for him because Carragher will spontaneously combust when he wins.
