I don't have any doubt they can pull for 4 hours. The question is: How hard can they pull? Wellens in the climbs is not looking good so they can put the tempo until la Redoute but probably the race will be soft or not tough enough.
I agree with that and I'm not expecting a race to be super hard if only UAE sets the tempo, especially with the headwind in the 2nd half

Is there any chance he attacks before la Redoute? Specially when we look to his team and the lack of firepower for the hills.
I would like to think so. Not necessarily invoked by him, but like AGR 2024 when Alaphilippe attacked. Would be nice if Vauqelin/Skjelmose/Martinez/other try to go early if UAE is weaker. And that the favourites follow.

13 monument win and still the king of LBL.
This victory has a bitter taste. I think Seixas proved to be stronger than Tadej anticipated; he didn't appear as sincerely happy as he usually does. As Seixas is expected to improve, Tadej may have to forget about Roubaix if he wants to keep winning the races that suit him best. With such stiff competition, the massive effort required for Roubaix just isn't feasible. He may no longer have the margin to safely win LBL or even the Tour de France next year.

Really?

He destroyed Seixas, putting more than 20s in 500m.

Kid got close to the sun, instead of pacing himself.

Still amazing by Seixas, but Pogacar was so impressive today.

just looked at the numbers, they are pretty crazy. Pogacar on redoute was 10 seconds faster than the previous KOM (from 2025), he did 8.8 w/kg for 3:49. Also on rouche aux focons he did the kom, and he was much faster than previous years, he did 8.5 w/kg for 3:28. This was probably the best perfromance of his 2026 season. Seixas is also a monster clearly, but in 12 KMs he still lost one minute before pogacar took it easy in the last 2 KMs

Surely the opposite? I can't imagine that winning Liege for the 6th time should be a priority over winning Paris-Roubaix,  the classic, for the first time and completing the set. If he wins Paris-Roubaix and loses Liege as a result, that's a better result at this point than vice versa

Another evidence that he is stronger than last year.

yes today he was definitively stronger than last year, also in MSR and SB he was stronger, but imo in flanders he was just slightly better and in roubaix imo he did not have the best day and his level was similar to last year.
Today it's definitively his most impressive performance of 2026, in the part after roche aux facons he still seemed in total control

True, but the chances of winning Roubaix are much slimmer than winning LBL or the TdF. He would essentially be risking his entire season for a single race where he has, at best, a 15% chance of victory. Constant weight fluctuations and preparing for vastly different terrains may simply be too demanding starting next year.

I believe Seixas can give him some problems in the Tour. Better to prepare well
I no longer dare to say that Seixas won't improve between now and July, but it's very likely that this is his peak form this year. Pogacar is clearly overweight, he will lose weight and train at altitude; presumably, the gap will be higher in the mountains in July than today.

Amazing win!

I think it's actually a good thing that Seixas pushed him this hard. I think he will take it in the right way and prepare even better for TdF now. He has seen this spring how strong Vingegaard and Seixas are this year so he will be ready.

What this kid improved in 2 months is incredible. I'm not counting him out. I already said he will beat Vingegaard in the Tour.
