Ermahgerd! Pogi didn't put 10 minutes into others and made a solo run for 120km, his career is over!!!! C'mon guys! Don't act like a couch football commentators!

Even Lenny couldn't believe he managed to hold Pogi's wheel:
"It’s always strange to be on his wheel. Even though I’m a pro rider, I still watch him on TV and think it must be crazy to be there with him, and that was the case today."

Stick a fork in Teddy, he's done!

Nah, he's just a friendly cannibal who remembers to fulfill some wishes once in a while, like handing people a wheel to follow, some gummy bears or a pair of sunglasses.

Riding slowly without falling asleep is his main challenge in the sport. It's much harder for him to do that than beating climbing records.
I know you're half kidding but I just look to his attack last year in LBL and it's just ridiculous how much stronger he is. He looked on a sunday ride compared to healy and others in la Redoute.

After Catalunya, the narrative was sold that Remco could win Liège in a sprint because he almost beat Godon in a sprint. And because Pidcock lost this sprint againts Remco after 300km in San Remo.

After yesterday when he beat Martinez by 5 metres today he destroys Godon...
A lot of explosive power in those legs

Thats quite disrespectful what he did 5 kms to go even with having a gap he didn’t want to commit & make a full attack only to drag them to the finish & slaughter them in a sprint. He made godon look like a turtle

My god, this guy can do everything, especially right now. Definitely the most well rounded rider ever now that he's also chasing cobbles and is able to flat out outsprint guys like Godon

Pogi always had a decent sprint but you say as if he had won a sprint against MVP in Velodrome or against Philipsen in MSR (he's much inferior to those big guys). Godon likely was more tired after this intense uphill action.

Merely pointing out that his sprinting level is very high now

It was even in Catalunya in 2024, where he was much lighter than now. Heck, he even outsprinted Van Aert a few years back. It's easier to compete in harder terrain when most of your rivals aren't top end sprinters or are a bit cooked.

He's definitely just better on the flats and in the sprint right now, no questions.

Remco vs Pogacar in a sprint is impossible to predict. Two of the best sprinters in the peloton, very high level

He was cooked in PR. Pidcock is a very decent sprinter and was in Pogacar's wheel most of the time.

Ok, but when I bring fatigue argument (regarding his rivals in hilly races) it's rejected. Pogacar is faster than all climbers and sometimes can be faster than big guys like Van Aert if they are more tired (i.e. in Canada a few years back). Under neutral circumstances he's way below guys like Vans (who are still a bit below top end sprinters). Nothing has changed in the last few years in this regard.
