I thought Soler would be replaced because he's doing the Giro, and he always does the Vuelta.

Both Sivakov & Almeida are doomed by the 'little dog' syndrome.
It's an extensively studied psychophysical condition.

Once your GF makes it so that you concede in getting a mini-dog, it's a sign your performance in the following months/year will be in the dumpster.

Sivakov is an awesome dom, just showcased in LBL, and he has been a great servant for years. One of the first riders that should be riding the Tour for the team. Lets see if future transfers dictate who gets a spot though.

He is very loyal and reliable but his level dropped significantly compared to 2024. He is still good, but his 2024 version was something else.

Agreed. If any of the stages should be a real test is tomorrow. I believe he will at least win solo.

If Seixas lines up at the Tour it wouldnt be surprising to see him have one of those really tough days where he loses 30 minutes or more For a 19 year old what he is doing is seriously impressive but it is a stretch to put him on the same level as Tadej Pogačar or Jonas Vingegaard just yet A three week Grand Tour is a completely different challenge and we simply do not know how his body will handle that kind of effort over such a long duration especially if it is his first time

Pogi has 2 months.

He told this transition is hard.

And even then, he already won 3 stages, is the favorite to win tomorrow, getting 4 stags + GC.

I thinks it's pretty good if we consider he won 3 monuments and dedicated all his preparation to do well in the classics.

He will lose 2 kg. And he will be flying in TdF.

San Miguel de Aralar is a 9.4 km climb at 8%. Very similar to today's climb for example (it is a little bit harder).
