Who is/was the tallest pro rider ever in the tour? I know Thor was pretty tall.....

Eros Poli was around 197cm tall, as is Johan Vansummeren. They are the tallest I've heard of. Hushovd isn't that tall, only 183 cm (6 ft). In comparison, Boonen, Hincapie and Voigt are around 191 cm tall.

Totally agree. As soon as I read the thread title I thought of Poli and THAT stage.....epic. But I see someone has just posted about Guillermo Brunetta at 2.09 metres

I believe that Samuel Dumoulin (5'2"; 1.57m) and Conor Dunne (6'8"; 2.03) are the extremes of the current peloton heightwise: Dunne of course has not been in the tour (for all the relevance that has)

That lookd like my highschool class, we had 3 guys that were around 193cm an one guy that was 201cm tall and a great swimmer. I'm 183cm tall and i was one of the smaller guys.

How tall is Wiggins? He has to be in the 5% of the tallest riders in the peloton. Tobias Ludvigsson is also a giant.

Just an innocent question that can be deleted if the mods want but what is everyone's heights on here. As a tall person who has already said/ maybe too much about it, it would be nice to actually get more responses than just two's people's height.

I'm 18- haven't measured myself in 5 or so months and am 196cm> 6'4 and a half. I've only grown 1cm from last year but all my cousins on my mum's side whose genes i seem to have overtly inherited had another growth spurt in their 20's.

I'm 183cm tall, but durning highschool i was one of the smaller guys in our class. We were 9 guys, 3 were around 193cm tall an one guy was 201cm tall, but not skinny he was a big athletic swimmer.

I'm 174, but I'm Southeast Asian, a good excuse to be under 180.
