I was wondering today after watching the 'Chasing Legends' documentary about the 2009 TdF

Was the real reason Garmin chased down George Hincapie's time difference due to a vendetta between LA's one remaining ally in the peloton? - Was it more about getting to LA rather than HTC columbia or George?

You talking about when george was in the breakaway and missed the yellow by 5 seconds? That wasn't stage 3, more.like 10.

3 gh was in a split with the rest of HTC canc and lance and cav won.
