So we have one hell of a battle

Vino + Ferrari Client vs.
Riis + clen doper vs.
Piti

Is this a TdF that should make ASO embarrassed ?

What about the new clean era of cycling ?

The most ridiculous doper, Dawg, crashed out so I'm gonna have to go with no. Also, Horner isn't as good as he can be.

2012 and 2013 were worse. This tour is much cleaner.

What are you all going to do with yourselves :D It's noticeable that activity in the forum seems to have decreases already. Talk about Froome obsessives.

I'll be interested to see if the forum goes into meltdown when Contador goes full *** in the Pyrenees

1996? Riis never tested positive, hence there's no evidence he doped (his 'confession' is a product of UCI pressure)

as there is less doping, there will be less activity in the clinic. Its only natural.

The team to occupies the 1st and 2nd spot of gc are clean, so I bet we got a 98% clean field in 2014

Good point. And bot traffic will be down to a minimum now that Dawg is out.

Sad really, some of the best entertainment I get while at work is reading some of the wonderful posts the bots come up with.

You're not interested in who actually doped, but who tested positive? You don't consider admitting you doped as "evidence"? Interesting.

Easy answer on this poll, not even close. 1998 might be all-time, with 2001-2009 all pretty strong contenders.

I think things at the peloton wide level are cleaner. At the top they all appear to be dirty, but the levels of doping are suppressed somewhat by the Passport I think.

We'll see more when we hit the mountains. If guys are still matching/beating all-time doped rides as they did last year, no change, eh?

Unless of course you are buying what Brailsford was selling last year, that (without any explanation of how) clean guys will match doped rides of a few years ago. In which case I have a bridge to sell you...

He did it twice at no testing heavens (Spain, ToC) and in meaningless US races around city streets.
He´ll be a no show at this TdF, and finish in the middle of nowhere. The 2nd coming of his Saunier-Bro Cobo-Dopo...

Whatever it was it worked: perfectly executed mea culpa.
The real bite was the "come and take it" statement
concerning his yellow jersey, and that wasn't a
Molon Labe type of come and take it.
That was a
who gives a ph uck, I've got my memories, and, i'll
most likely continue to direct and or own a team;
come and take it should you desire to make a big deal
out of a tour that's probably just a little too old for
any real meaningful doping intrigue compared today
type of "come and take it"!

This shtick is getting old.

Astana, Movistar and the others had been catching up in the arms race, remember? Try to be somewhat consistent, you're giving us cynics a bad name.

I suspect that he's having a dig at Skybot logic.

Well in this case sceptic was meeting mud with mud, and it was a funny response and kind of right if you think about it. No froome means there is less doping. Even if everyone else dopes 99 is still a smaller number than 100
