Well in this case sceptic was meeting mud with mud, and it was a funny response and kind of right if you think about it. No froome means there is less doping. Even if everyone else dopes 99 is still a smaller number than 100

I understand that, but it's the "fighting mud with mud" thing that's getting old in my opinion. It adds nothing to the forum.

Its when its unprovoked (like the constant mention of "horse steroids") that I don't like and think it damages the forum, but when someone comes in and accuses all Froome doubters of being Contador fans I can appreciate a good slap to the face.

Yes the likely scenario is that Contador has gone all out in the doping department to beat Froome and now will win it in a canter unless Porte shows some of last year's form. Can you guess from my response that I don't rate Nibali's chances at all no matter what headstart he's got?

Contador and Nibali dont have bots so their threads will probably go something like this

"lol, look at that mutant attack faster than Armstrong. biggest farce I have ever seen"
(some more laughing and pointing out obvious doping)
After a while, one of the clinic elders will show up to tell everyone to calm down and not exaggrate too much.

Its hard to get thousands of posts out of that.

Well, I havent really kept up with that thread, but I guess fans will always try to make excuses for their own guy. But I think in general Contador and Nibali fans have a more realistic view on their riders doping and I would be surprised to see them gather the same defence as sky.

And last years tour wasn't? Contador had 2nd wrapped up if he was happy to accept it and Valverde was better than Purito without the echelon stage. Admit it, it was "better" only because your lad won it. If you think there was a clean rider anywhere in the top 8-10 last year you're dreaming...

No. Froome is more likely to have recently doped, and doped more, than any other rider in the world that hasn't recently tested positive.

Except perhaps Horner.

The average man in the street does not know who Ivano Fanini is to have made those accusations of Nibali. Why is it so much harder, in your opinion, to sell Nibali as a clean cyclist than last year's podium? The majority of people do not know about the potential Ferrari connection, are they hanging on his team association? If so, surely Froome, Quintana and Purito could all be hung on the same hook?
