Great time for Fuglsang.

Especially without Luis Leon.

Quick Step look done. Whoever is at back of group (Lampaert or Terpstra) is dead and just hanging on to keep a rider there

Nibali looked great but his team lacks depth. Izagirres, Pozzo and that´s it. I expected more from Colbrelli and Koren.
Pelizotti was an obvious weak link and Haussler crashed yesterday.
Nibali had to do most of the work himself and hope that Pozzo would hang on the last kms.

All in all I'd say having more or less the same time as and Porte after the TTT is brilliant news for nibali. His biggest weakspot is now over
Great news for cycling that you can crash because of your own fault and be ahead 2 days later through reasons you have nothing to do with

Yea it's shame cycling is a team sport.
It's not a teamsport though. Froome won last years tour, not sky. But by including TTT's you make a sport where individuals are supported by teammates but at the end still have to do the job on their own a teamsport and imo that's not how it should be

It's a teamsport won by individuals. Just another way in which cycling is somewhat weird. :D

And the teams are enough of an advantage in road stages already

Old rivals Gilbert and Van Avermaet battling for yellow. Gilbert was probably not that rider, GVA would have liked to 'lose' yellow against.

Boggles the mind how anyone could watch Skys 5 Tour victories and come to the conclusion cycling is an individual sport
