Death by TDF boredom
22 july, millions of cycling fans all over the world died this afternoon, as the result of ongoing boredom during this years Tour de France. The lack of excitement made the fans forget to breathe properly and as a result die of a lack of oxygen...

I can see the headlines

Except they did not climb this in stage 16 or 15 or ever...they did the Tourmalet then the Aubisqe

it is what it is.....Chalkbot total Fail.

Well the Soulor hooks up to the Aubisque, and they did it, although maybe it wasn't on this route up. But they definitely climbed the Soulor on stage 16.

ETA: they didn't get points at the top of the Soulor, it was just considered part of the Aubisque, to be clear.

/offtopic: What do you think about Boom's statement that Breschel wouldn't add anything to the Rabo classic squad because they're at least equals. Confident or delusional?

Risky public statement, especially if/when he really comes.

Also delusional. An addition of Breschel would only add to the depth of the team and give more tactical options - to be fully screwed up during the actual race as to be expected off course :p...

well excuuuuuse me....I failed French Geography.

Chalkbot still sucks.....you think chalk holds up in a rainstorm?
does it make you sad?

agreed that, geographical debates aside, the chalkbot is unequivocally awful.

on another note, Rabo pushing the pace for 15km or so... Gesink to attack? This high climb would suit him, based on his past climbing and comments about 'above 1800m'.

Lol, with his current recuperation/form, I'd be suprised if Gesink finishes among the 10 best climbers of the day. He'll have a hard time normally.

Mile after mile of Livestrong chalkbot.

I hope they've used chalk and not paint for that otherwise it will take them years to get it off.

It's called a CHALKbot ffs.
