What do you all think?

Anyone get within 3 minutes of his finishing time? Will the 3rd placed rider be inside 5 minutes?

I think not :)

Oy. Turns out this was the thread with the crystal ball. Nobody within 5 minutes.

Shucks. In 1964 I could believe that. In 1975 I could believe that. In 1984 I could believe that! But after 1990? Nah.

Sky's got some 'splainin' to do.

to who? don't tell me is Evans:D

I keep going back to the utopia that Cadel will still win this Tour so I don't have to bare the likely outcome of Wiggins winning the Tour. It makes me feel sick.

haha guess I should keep my faith on Nibali winning then:D

The arrogance of these delusional Brits is unbelievable. The tour is yet to reach the Pyrenees, there are two mountain stages to come which could shake up the general classification, and yet they are talking about winning margins.
Why are they so confident, that a rider who has never podium the tour before, has only one third place in a grand tour behind his own domestique, and who has shown weaknesses in the high mountains previously, as well as in this years' tour
will win the Tour, and that too by a huge margin?

Nibali hasn't taken a single second out of Wiggins so far but you think he's going to take 4 and a half minutes plus out of him before the time trial? Fair enough. Only bad luck or Froome suddenly deciding to ignore team orders can stop him now. Otherwise I agree that this is a stupid thread.

So you are saying that, there is no possibility at all of Wiggins and Froome cracking on the two mountain stages.

People have been saying Wiggo will crack all season, not a hint of it happening so far. I appreciate you are desperate for it to happen though so best of luck!

Weaknesses in the high mountains? Evans got dropped by Wiggins, while Nibali despite throwing the kitchen sink is struggling to get 4 seconds yet alone the 4 minutes minimum he needs to overturn the deficit and account for the spanking he will get in the final tt.

I saw all of it. He didn't crack there, I assume you are referring to when he was 'dropped' when Froome attacked.

Ah, Ok. He didn't crack. He was only dropped:D
My sincere apologies for my poor English language skills, but because it's not my native language you'll have to bear with it.
So are you saying that there isn't any possibility of Wiggins and Froome being dropped, on a climb, and there wouldn't be any possibility of them loosing time?

He wasn't dropped though, Wiggo ALWAYS rides even tempo when there are attacks and then brings them back in. Just ignoring the fact that this is how he rides to suit your argument smacks of desperation. Of course it is possible, anything is possible. Certainly mo more likely than Nibali losing time though.
