...and a clean winner of the Giro.

Yes, agree on Hesjedal. He shows no signs at all of doping. He's an older style rider, like a VW diesel rabbit. None of these mad, high octane accelerations, sprinting up hills.

According to Richie Porte, it's not a super technical , but very nice, course one for the specialists. He was told to take it easy and he enjoyed it.

Cueue apologists pointing out that Porte had a bad day and clearly is clean.

You won't see extraterrestrial wattages anymore. It's too obvious.

Doesn't mean you can't dope till you reach the upper human wattage levels though. Some people say there are less differences than ever between riders on average - maybe that's why.

the point is, it's not evidence of doping! Not trying to turn this into a formal epistemology class, but that wattage simply is not evidentially supportive of doping. The fact that 2 teammates are placing 1-2 is also not evidence of doping. This used to happen in the pre-EPO era - Lemond/Hinault/Fignon etc

2 things I will guarantee will occur.....

1. Tomorrow Froome and Wiggins will go 1-2 in the ITT beating Fabs.

2. Wiggins will win the Tour and be the first person since Hinault in 81 to hold the jersey from this far out from the finish.

Thats how far they're ahead.

The only thing that can stop Sky is the police.

Do you have a crystal ball?! It seems to be coming true :(

It's not evidence of doping by itself, of course, but the suggestive signals keep piling up.

Do you really want to start a line of argument that relies upon equating Hinault + LeMond to Wiggins + Froome?

That indeed must have been the worst insults Hinault and LeMond must have had about their cycling careers.

ill wait for the finishing times, but if ever there was a strange outcome in a stage it looks like it might be here. Have to see how close evans is to Fabian and then compare it to the super times posted by sky.

Froome beats the yardstick by 21 seconds.

Phooom!

Still, all the posts whizzing above your head. Where there's smoke there's fire my friend. It's not like this has been seen before. You can attack each point individually, but it is the congruence of all of them that makes the case. (BTW - it's not just 2 from one team performing)

Just love the new Sky climbing team is out TT'ing Canc, who was smoking. Froome just takes the lead :p What a joke.

Folks, I think I'm done watching le Tour this year. This takes me back quite a few years to when I last decided not to bother watching. For the record, at least when it comes to sports, I am not a big believer in miracles.

Fabian barely beats Van Garderen and Chavanel by less than 30 seconds. Not much.

He's weaker than last year with his broken shoulder this spring.

According to Phil, Wiggins and Yates have formed a special bond this year.

Froome beating Cancellara? Allez les gendarmes.

Chris Froome: the latest incarnation of Floyd Landis, Michael Rasmussen, and Ricardo Ricco. Does anyone--rider, fan, anyone--believe in this performance? They have made a mockery of the TDF, again. Again, they throw an unbelievable out of the blue performance in our faces, and do they really expect us to believe it this time?

Sky apologists, anywhere? Is there any evidence anywhere in Froome's history that would make it believable for him to beat Cancellara in a time trial?

I second that. It’s just ridiculous. You don’t need doping tests for this. You just use your own eyes.
