I assume you're listening to Dutch commentary, but for the English, P&P have no apparent sense of irony, but the ES guys sometimes do and sometimes don't. I'm not sure if they are using code, but I try and think that they are, because it keeps me sane.

I know I've heard David Harmon and Carlton Kirby on Eurosport mention comparison to Lance and also Landis's wonder day. I think I have heard the same on the US coverage - but it is always an allusion - they don't want a libel suit.

If I was a "fan" I,d be embarrassed at what I,m seeing Sky doing. Its so blatant its an insult to the intelligence of anyone with the capacity for deductive logic.
There not even trying to mask it. All the bolex about marginal gains, dedication, etc, etc...WTF!..Like no other rider or team puts the effort it?..disgusting.
I,ve suggested earlier in this thread gene therapy and If anyone cares to research gene therapies alleged potential they,l see its plausible and will NEVER show up in a test.

I'm a scientist - gene therapy is implausible to say the least. Not only are gene targets for this application not well understood, the protocols involved carry extreme risks, with fatalities during some human trials, potentially dangerous vectors, etc.
