'If there's a 1% suspicion or doubt that a team is working with certain doctors, then they shouldn't be invited to the Tour de France - as simple as that. '

The way this is going, I can see a Sky implosion this year. The Telegraph ran the Rasmussen 'Leinders doped me story'.

Meh. They make little of his Sky link, and it's a long way behind the stories they're running on Rooney leaving United

I'm shocked as well. He injected young cyclists with EPO and set up a blood doping program.

But "we need guys like Dr. Lienders"....

If having a team staff member who has a doping past is the litmus test of a systematic doping program, then every team would be guilty (I know this is the dogmatic assertion of many in this clinic...), but, there is no specific evidence that Leinders administered a program while at Sky, the timeline does not fit, and the historical absolute performance data does not fit.

What will be the explanation when the criminal investigation against Leinders doesn't incriminate SKy?

What will be the explanation when Sky's performance does not decrease this year despite Leinders' absence?

What will be the explanation when Wiggins wins the Giro without Leinders?

What will be the explanation when Froome wins the Tour without Leinders?

It's gradual though isn't it - like putting a big jigsaw together. LA's downfall was similar.

Skybot7438a reporting for duty.

Lot of "ifs" there.

I like facts.

Sky crushed the Tour last year.

They had a doping Doctor who is experienced in setting up blood programs and injecting young cyclists with EPO.

Lets discuss what we know now.

Stop avoiding the issues. Sky doped to win the Tour. Period.

Could be. I've already said if Sky have/are doped/doping, it will come out, given the current climate, and given the investigation Leinders is under. The British press will go after any suspected scandal, but our sportsmen are on a pedestal at the moment, and none more than Bradley Wiggins. It would be a brave newspaper that made insinuations about him, because I don't think the general public will be interested, or believe it.

Other countries press are a different matter

No, you don't have facts. You 'just know.' A string of dubious circumstantial bits hung together by fallacies and conspiracy.

I do know.

Leinders is a blood doctor. He injects young cyclists with EPO. Court room testimony proves such a fact. Corroborated by many.

Sky hire blood Doctor.

Sky win all races, crushing the opposition.

Those are facts.

Are you telling me those Dutch cyclists lied in court? Wowza! Talk about conspiracy theories!

And that BW thought Geert was a 'bloody good Doctor' talk about having a way with words!

Which other team was founded on having a Zero Tolerance Policy to doping?
Where they would not hire anyone with any type of doping history - let alone a doping Doctor.

Oh, there is a criminal investigation against Leinders on his time with Sky?
I thought it was centrred on his time at Rabo. That should sort it then

Do you think Leinders is the only source for doping products? And I don't think BW will win the Giro.

Are you on drugs?

Sometimes your posts really are bizzare?

telegraph is going to bring sky down? Seriously what drugs are you on? They are more pro sky than cycling news. During the Armstrong saga they were pumping out racial supremacy articles about how British people would never dope.

I'll ignore your insult and just say that I did not say the Telegraph were going to bring Sky down. I merely pointed out that they were running the story which only mentioned Sky once.

I think that was Porte's warm down from yesterday.

He didn't look tired at all.

Going to be an awesome season.

Sky should go 1-2-3 in all Grand Tours.

Should win Roubaix and Flanders as well.

Big laugh over here. Murdoch and his dogs have turned cycling even more into entertainment.

Even Lance would be laughing and saying "not normal"...

Every piece of bunch filler that goes to Sky instantly becomes a super dom uphill or even wins stage races like its nothing. Take Porte, in 2011 he was just grupetto material in the Tour and now he takes half a minute in less than 2 km

Payback time for last year's TdF domestique work. It has been decided that Porte wins P-N and Froome T-A.

Everyone is on the 450W program until September.

To be honest, I didn't even mind today. I was literally laughing at the TV. Big time dopers like Menchov and Scarponi are dying on their bike, guys like Westra and Velits can barely breath after the finish line, and Porte is barely even trying, just cruising to the finish.

Porte was peaking for P-N as he will have to drag the big dogs around for the rest of the season.

That and he's beating a bunch of nobodies. I mean even LLS won P-N when it included this MTF.

Talansky is a refreshing sign of the young talent coming through the peloton. Menchov and Scarponi, not so much.

Not bad from a Sky reporter:D

Marginal gains still on fire.

Watch closely Tirreno tomorrow, the likes of Evans, Contador, Nibali, Purito are going to be buried
