To all the people who are actually buying this fairy tale:

How?!? How can you look at what's happening right in front of you and think it's legit? Half a t team casually riding in ahead of the entire world elite.
Exactly. I am not a Debbie Downer by any means but c'mon.

Suddenly Richie Porte has found his legs again too. Wout Poels is a nice climber but not like this.

Laughable.

Can any team/rider call out Sky? or does it look like sour grapes. Seems to be a code in all of sports that you cant comment even if its this obvious.

I don't know what to say.

Is there any clause in a Tour contract that can allow riders not to ride if they feel there is blatant cheating occurring on another team..? That would be a sight, every other team refusing to start the next day until Sky were thrown out of the race .... Oh, to dream...

I thought a lot of this too. But then everyone is dirty. But, really, who cares? Let's all get banned. At least make a statement that this has gone to an unseen level of ridiculousness that everyone else can only dream of achieving.
This is the one of the worst days in pro cycling.

Was Armstrong ever that comically dominant? I don't think so. You need to go back to the 90s to find such a ludicrious degree fo dominance.

2000 Hautacam is more insane than today individually but I don't think this sort of performance happened as a whole team.

Yeah, reminded me a little of Stage 11, 2002, La Mongie ... but at least Beloki put up something of a fight against Armstrong and Heras ... and guys like Rubiera and Hincapie had the decency to finish minutes down, not amongst the other podium contenders.

Complete two finger salute to the entire sport and the fans
We have TT's faster than ever before
ITT's after 8 stages being ridden at ridiculous speeds
Now a full on alien performance from the most outrageously false team full of BS from top to bottom
Sorry but LA just got demoted to running the second most ridiculous team wide doping program
SKY just set the new bar for doping performances in the tour

What will be interesting is what the other contenders will do in the alps when they are all 10 minutes down already.
I can just see Contador and Nibali out in a breakaway on stage 17 and being allowed a 9 minute lead by the sky train

Re: Sky

To say that was full ***, would understatement and then some more. One team is so clearly on higher octane fuel, i don't see any point for others to race on anymore. Hope Sky pay for, sooner or later. I can wait, but i eventually I want to see Froomes and Brailsfords face when they are outed a la LA and Bruyneel.

What they did in 2013 had nothing on what did today. What Froome did was strait out of late 90s, most likely with similar fuel, with little extra added from the newer stuff. I hope he's gone from the Tour before Paris, ejected like the Chicken, or better with entire team, like Festina. Although I'm sure it won't happen.

Still, don't believe ASO is happy, what happened today was too much over the top, too obvious for all to see.

G Thomas just said he was frustrated sitting behidn TJVG and just wanted to drop him, but told just to sit behind.

I am not making this up, he just said that.

I was cringing when he said that. Why would you say that???? Surely that just raises more questions about how the hell he was feeling like that when he had been setting the pace for so long. Sky have no shame.

I thought I'd imagined that. Claimed he was stuck behind TJ and Valverde!

I heard it, too. Hardly surprising, Thomas has a tendency to get a 2nd wind. Something that only Sky riders seem to be able to do.
